The b&b was absolutely gorgeous. A lovely, elegant old house. My room was spacious and very well appointed, with a huge bed, a desk and a sitting area with two small armchairs, as well as two luggage racks. The en suite was lovely, with a big shower cubicle. Everything you could need.
It was easy to get in at any time, using the key code provided on arrival.
The hostess (Kate?) was so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was extensive and delicious.
I can also highly recommend Cafè Kisa in Auchterarder, under 10 mins drive away.
Blackford is a pleasant small village but large lorries roll through late at night, breaking the 20mph speed limit - very noisy. I don't think they should be allowed through the village at all! Thank goodness the last one went through at midnight and then it was quiet and peaceful again.
