Excellent hosts. Amanda was the consummate host, location was perfect, beautiful house, clean, everything you need topped by a superb breakfast from Geoffrey. This is B&B at its best..

Amanda and Geoff are the kind of hosts that make you want to return, just to catch up with them both! They have turned Merlindale into an elegant, but warm and welcoming B+B. The rooms are beautiful, with every need catered for. Geoff's breakfasts are a delight, with lots of thought going into the daily, delicious specials. Amanda's attention to detail can be seen everywhere-from the homemade pots of granola and muesli, to the very welcome dram of whiskey in each room, and homemade shortbread! A real gem!
