Идеална локация! Арт място. Тихи и културни посетители. Удобна кухня. Балкон с гледка. Леглото ми беше удобно. Мястото е много чисто.

Не очаквайте "евро ремонт" на това арт място в идеалния център! Всичко е чисто и поддържано, но си е на години.

The private room is not worth it, just pay extra somewhere else

Friendly staff allowed me to check in early. Central location

The facilities are poor especially the bathrooms & the “so-called” showers which are basically a shower hand above the toilet!! Few bathrooms available & are very small. Private room has no AC & poorly furnished. The bed is very uncomfortable with a very thin mattress that made me feel every spring in the bed.

Bathrooms are too small - you have the feeling that you are bathing in a WC.

Местоположението е прекрасно.В близост до Катедралата,центъра,хран.магазин,закусвалня,кафенета,пазар с пресни плодове и зеленчуци.

Трябва освежаване на баните,нови мивки и тоалетни чинии.Всеки трябва да почиства след себе си,като е ползвал тоалетната,тъй като санитарните възли са общи за етажа.

Inmitten des Stadtzentrums

Ein etwas chaotisches Hostel, absolut zentral gelegen, mit grossem Aufenthaltsraum, Gartensitzplatz, Gästeküche. Frottiertücher werden vom Hostel gestellt. Das Wifi ist gut. Nettes und sehr hilfreiches Personal.

Die Duschen/WC sind äusserst klein und stets ziemlich schmutzig.

Matelas à ressort très inconfortable dans une chambre double, prises électriques délabrées, évier dans la chambre inutilisable, trois sdb communes faisant office de douche et wc situées au même endroit pour l’ensemble de l’hôtel , bref prestations non conformes aux photos et descriptions…

Geschmacksache

Ca 30 min zu Fuß oder 5-10 min mit dem Bus von der central bus station in Varna. Das Hostel liegt sehr zentral und kann schnell gefunden werden. Der Checkin war einfach, wir durften früher einchecken, weil das Zimmer frei war. Die Rezeption ist ab 8 Uhr besetzt. Wir haben ein zwei Bett Zimmer im ersten Stock gehabt. Licht und Steckdosen am Bett vorhanden. Wifi funktioniert gut. Gemeinschaftsküche sauber und gut ausgestattet. Warmes Wasser kommt gut. Personal freundlich und etwas streng. Gepäckaufbewahrung möglich. Kleiner Gemeinschaftsbalkon und schön eingerichteter Aufenthaltsraum. Viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Bars in der Nähe. Ca. 20-30 min zu Fuß zum Strand von Varna.

Beide Betten waren komplett durchgelegen und sehr unbequem. Ein Bett war defekt und hat bei jeder Bewegung laut geknarrt. Die Betttücher waren zu klein, so dass man ständig direkt auf der unsauberen Matratze gelegen ist. Die Wände waren schmutzig und etwas verschimmelt. Es gab jede Menge Stechmücken. Gemeinschafts Dusche+Toilette zusammen! Auf kleinen Raum, sehr eng und unhygienisch. Zum duschen zu eklig, und komplett nasse Toilette, wenn jemand geduscht hat. Personal freundlich und etwas streng. Eine einzigartige Erfahrung!

Solides Backpacker-Hostel

Warna habe ich nicht ganz verstanden, aber ich denke, die Lage ist hier schon eher gut, unweit befindet sich ein wichtiger Platz mit Restaurants. Die Stimmung in dem Hostel war auch gut, in jeden Fall ein solides Backpacker Hostel. Für mich war es auch vorteilhaft, dass ich einmal Wäsche waschen lassen konnte, diese muss früh genug einem Mitarbeiter mitgegeben werden. Die Mitarbeiter habe ich als sehr unkompliziert und hilfsbereit erlebt.

Meiner Erfahrung nach ist es in Bulgarien üblich, Toilette und Dusche zu kombinieren, dies ist hier ebenfalls der Fall, nur hier ist es besonders optimiert, also die Nasszellen sind winzig. Eigentlich finde ich es gut, dass der vorhandene Platz hier gut genutzt wird, aber falls jemand damit nicht klar kommt: Hier ist die Warnung. Es wäre auch besser, wenn die Leute die Duschen, sich an die eigentlich vorhandene Regel halten würden, hinter sich trocken zu wischen. Ansonsten bleibt noch die Matratze, ich glaube diese war ganz schön durchgelegen, schlafen konnte ich trotzdem.

Stay here in Varna and experience what a hostel should be like

1. Fluent English & other language speaking, professional, polite, helpful, warm, accommodating, with extensive knowledge of sights in Varna & it’s surrounding areas….. 2. The kitchen is FULLY equipped with every imaginable and some not imaginable equipments 3. The clientele are amazing 4. The atmosphere is welcoming and homely 5. Very close to parks, thr beach and shops etc

Good location

Central location, well stocked kitchen with big fridge, large common area, cool decor. Lockers in dorms fit cabin baggage. Good for keeping valuables safe.

Barely slept the first night as I didn’t have a blanket. Absolutely froze. The next morning, I noticed one high up above the lockers under another guests stuff. Also, another guest had the light on until almost midnight, talking loudly on her phone and tapping away at her laptop for hours. When she finally went to bed, she snored like a train all night. Not really the hostels fault, just an inconsiderate guest. Shower over toilet in tiny toilet space. Nowhere to get changed before or after.

I recommend it overall, it's a normal decent hostel.

Location is perfect, staff is knowledgeable about Varna, and kind, facilities are adequate, price is very fair.

You have to check-in before 8pm. Beds are creaky and loud: bring earplugs. I didn't have a towel hook. Doors lock from the inside by key, so if you want to leave the room at 3am to piss, you have to fumble in the dark with your keys without waking other people, which is very difficult. Seems like also a fire hazard to lock from inside using keys, no?

Good enough!

Location perfect. Staff kind and knowledgeable. Facilities good enough. The place was cool yet orderly, at least in May before the real peak tourist season.

No check in after 8pm. Mattress slightly more uncomfortable than other hostels. Wooden beds are creakier so use earplugs. If you lock the door at night but you need to piss at 3am, you have to fumble in the dark to find the right key, and unlock the door painstakingly. Seriously you need a key to leave the room. Seems like a fire hazard.

The right place to stay in Varna

Definitely, a hostel with character. It is an apartment on two levels, in great need of renovation, but what potential! The ceiling is particularly beautiful, the division of rooms, bathrooms and the kitchen are so functional. The garden has crazy charm. The balcony open to the park is the pleasure of the morning when the small market fills the air with the pleasant smell of fruit. The church bell ringing, the golden domes of the cathedral, the rocky shade of the trees, are aspects that conquer any traveler. Without hesitation, the hostel is recommended. It's an old building, in fact it's the oldest hostel in Varna. Hugh charm and ambiance for a small price that it's no reason to complain about anything. Best short sleep in the afternoon I've had in the last time.

Happy to stay there again

I have been a regular vistor of Yo-Ho hostel for the last years. The location is very central, just behind Varna theatre, across the Cathedral, with excellent transport links to the Central Bus Station and the Railway Station. Varna Central beach is c. 15 min away on foot. The staff is welcoming, the vibe is homely, it's open 24/7 and both location and hostel are safe. Once you've checked out of the room but have to wait for your train/bus for a few more hours, the staff is friendly enough to let you stay in the Common room and use the bathroom.
