Kein Zwangs-Frühstück (bei uns unerwünscht). Quartier fußläufig zum Bahnhof (ca. 1/2 Stunde), wichtig für Bahn-Reisende. Sehr große Fw. mit mehreren Zimmern und wünderschönem kleinen Garten (mit Tisch und Stühlen für Mahlzeiten, Lektüre oder Vogel-Beobachtung). Recht preiswert. Wege auch zu Geschäften und (teuren) Restaurants recht kurz.
Stark muffiger Geruch, besonders zu Beginn (Nachlassen durch häufiges/langes Lüften durch uns oder Gewöhnung?). Keine Wasch-Maschine (vorher bekannt). "Historische" Bett-Decken: jeweils nur ein Laken, das am Kopfende um eine Stepp-Decke geschlagen war (war in früheren Jahrzehnten häufiger anzutreffen als zuletzt in Frankreich): aus unserer Sicht unpraktisch, zu wenig komfortabel.

The hosts are such a lovely couple - very friendly and helpful and we spent quite a time just chatting to them. The apartment had loads of room, plenty of storage space for clothes (that's unusual), a well-appointed kitchen, a conservatory and we had the use of the beautiful garden. They provided us with bread, cider, jam, pate and, of course, coffee and tea just to get us started. Easy walk into old Quimper. Parking outside and around the corner and we managed to park for free.
