Quirky, well equipped, comfortable and convenient .

Lovely, stylish, spacious, well equipped and comfortable apartment right in the centre of the old part of Quimper, a stones throw from the cathedral. The host Patricia is really helpful, friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Nothing to dislike about the property but Quimper is extremely busy on Saturday (market day) and parking spaces can be difficult to find nearby. The rest of the week is ok.

The location is the biggest advantage of this property. It’s right in the heart of Quimper’s old town, making it very convenient to explore the historic center, restaurants, and shops on foot.

The apartment appears to be a converted shophouse and has no windows at all. The only openings are the front door and a rear balcony, which means there is virtually no cross-ventilation. Since the front door opens onto a busy pedestrian street, it cannot be left open for privacy and security. Even with the rear balcony door open all day, the apartment remained hot and stuffy. The bedroom is completely enclosed with no ventilation, and there is no fan or air conditioning. Although the outdoor temperature was only around 25°C, it felt much warmer inside. I would not recommend staying here during summer. The parking situation is also misleading—the nearest public parking is about 400 metres away and requires walking up a fairly steep slope with luggage.
