Location and the spacious balcony.
Very poor lighting. Living area was very dark. Bedroom and bathroom were tired and outdated. The throw on the bed looked old and in poor condition. Could not read in bed due to poor lighting.

Great location in old part of Funchal. Restaurants nearby as well as the Mercado as well as stores
No elevator and you can’t bring the car near the door so prepare to carry your luggage. Even though, the location was worth it

Perfect location in the old town. 4 min walk to cable car base & sea front. Large supermarket 8min walk in the shopping centre. Lots of lovely coffee shops & places to eat within minutes. Bus ststion also only a 5 min walk. Apartment was very comfortable, modern & well equiped.

The location was perfect, a short walk to everything you needed. The bed was so comfortable and the apartment as a whole was immaculate. The hosts were extremely helpful with quick communication and great recommendations of places to eat and things to do!
