Despite having booked, then emailed specifically to double-check for two single beds, we were given a room with a double bed. It was resolved, but took extra effort and moving rooms etc.

A perfect stay to discover an ancient city

A cosy hotel in the historic center of Aquileia. We enjoyed its atmosphere! The comfort of the beds exceeded our expectations. The room was cleaned every day. The breakfast was good but also typical for local standards: don’t expect to have some vegetables or omelette. There was a fair choice of cheese, sausage, boiled eggs, bread of different kinds, butter, marmalades, croissants, fruits, yogurts. As for the drinks, coffee, tea, juice and water were available.

Excellent location, fantastic view facing the basilica, friendly and efficient staff, nice restaurant with a good choice of entrees and savory desserts. Easy and free parking next to the hotel is a definite plus.

Just one power outlet next to the bed makes it challenging to charge multiple phones and tablets.

Lovely hotel in historic location

Very friendly hotel with local helpful staff. Good room with comfortable bed. Very clean and tidy. Food excellent esp. the fresh sea bass and salad from local producers! Very close to Roman ruins and the very historic church.

Classic family-run cozy accomodation

Position close to the Basilica. Very helpful staff, they arranged to get a couple of free bikes to have a ride in the cycle track to Grado. Large and free available parking. Bath recently renewed. Ordinary but varied breakfast with packed stuff. international guests. Service suitable with three-star level. I recommend

Nice place to stay in Aquileia

Excellent location, easy walk to all sites, and the Basilica is just around the corner. Staff very friendly and proved lots of material in english! Nice restaurant with outside seating. Free parking on site and plentiful.

WiFi was a little hit and miss, and you had to keep logging back in all the time.

Very nice overall experience.

Communication with the hotel staff was easy going and very smooth. The room was comfy and clean providing a good place to relax. Breakfast was tasty as well as dinner which I had at the hotel twice. Location (10 km from Grado beach which was my main destination) was not ideal but not bad either. Especially for youngsters, it is a great idea to cycle this distance as there is a bicycle track.

Excellent place to stay to discover ancient Aquileia and Grado, the "little Venice" close by.

I liked especially the view from the room window towards the church tower. And the staff was very very friendly.

A good place to stay, the price was very reasonable and the food really good.

The hotel is of easy bus access from the nearest train station and is situated just next to main monument. It has a very good restaurant and the personnel was very nice.

The window of the room was facing a rooftop full of construction junks, maybe because the hotel was doing some reparation or maintenance work.

Ideal hotel for seeing Aquileia's historical sights

Clean room. Very convenient location for visiting the historical curiosities of Aquileia. Nice old fashioned bar and reception area. Very nice staff.

The breakfast did not impress.The air conditioning was a bit loud, and without it it was very hot as it was a hot August night. But these are small things, frequent in Italian hotels, and totally acceptable at this price.

Secondo me un pó caro ma ad Aquileia ci sono pochissimi hotel quindi la scelta é limitata. La camera era un pó fredda all’arrivo ma l’impianto di riscaldamento è molto potente quindi abbiamo risolto velocemente
