Our room had a view of the basilica and tower, which was lovely. Aquileia is a small town but this was very central, had easy parking, and came with breakfast.
There is traffic noise if you keep the windows open.

Great location and really good food in the restaurant
Staff were not communicative or even unhelpful at times

It’s perfectly located to enjoy Aquileia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with the famous Patriarchal Basilica and other interesting archaeological sites and museum. The floor mosaic from 4th century in the Basilica was so stunning. Our room in the hotel was spacious and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and cheerful. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel, and both were good.
Because we stayed there only for one night, we kept the window and the shutter closed. Just before we left, cleaner had come to open them to get fresh air, and only then we realised that we had a wonderful view! We wish we had known it before.

Wonderful helpful owner who went out of her way to help us.
Excellent housekeeping. Food in onsite restaurant was very good
Position in Aquiléia was super convenient for the archeological sites. Aquiléia is an amazing place with few tourists. Don’t miss the fabulous Archeological Museum. Bus service from Udine and Grado is excellent and bus stop very near the hotel.
