The place to stay in central Antwerp.

Very comfortable bed in a room that was almost an apartment. Fabulous shower in a large bathroom. Very quiet but in a central location close to the tram/bus hub, the central station and a short walk from the shops and old town squares. Very friendly and helpful host who gave us a map on which he marked places of interest. Copious included breakfast in a wonderful breakfast room. Would definitely stay there again.

Paying in cash was a bit inconvenient.

A perfect vacation traveler location

This is an ideal spot for a vacation central spot in Antwerp. This is an excellent property with two kind hosts. I checked in very earlier and they were immediately accommodating. The location is ideal as you can quickly walk to the train station (<10min) and market (<20min). Breakfast was also very good, with fresh bread, a hard boiled egg, juice, and a great coffee maker. Overall, this was an excellent place to stay and will be perfect for most.

For work, just know what you're getting. I had to present a webinar one evening and the bandwidth isn't strong enough. Even after I turned off my camera, I still froze for participants or was kicked off wifi 10 times in one hour. that was tough. For email, its fine. Just check your drafts folder to make sure attachments were sent. Further, although breakfast was good, it doesn't start until 8:30. You can request earlier but you shouldn't be in a rush in the morning.

Location, Location, Location. Within walking distance of everything. Very comfortable room & bathroom. Friendly & Helpful Husband and Wife, accommodating to our need for luggage storage when we check in or out. And the BREAKFAST took us to another world. The attention to detail in the Breakfast room, background music, quality of the food makes you feel very special. Impeccable service and stay Will definitely stay at this B & B again Highly Highly Recommended

A lovely place in the center of Antwerp.

A lovely place in a very center, spacious room with an interesting decor, for sure one of the most original places I have been to, not the typical "Airbnb feel." A great place for those who want to discover Belgium staying in a place that has a 100% Belgian ambiance. Perfect location, in a walking distance from the train station and with many good bars in the vicinity. A very friendly and a very Belgian owner who is fun to talk and gave us good tips on what to see in the city. We have been to Antwerp before but still, it was very helpful. So a recommended place to stay for those who want to have the Belgian immersion experience :).

Everything was good, no complaints! It is just important to know that there are some stairs to walk up to the apartment, for those who have some mobility issues, as it is an old house and no elevator is available.

Unique B&B in a convinient location

The atmosphere was very unique. Full of vintage forniture, paintings and statues, but also cartoons (Tintin <3), drawings, designed pieces and modern styles. Full of personality and a breath of chaotic taste in a decade of minimalism. The breakfast was delicious and the staff very warm. They even gave us a map and pointed interesting places to visit that were not so common for turists. Very close to the city center, tram and walking distance from the central station.

Maybe not the best if you have attention problems, because you will get stuck in the hallway looking at all the awesome details auhuauah

Historic B&B near train station

Beautiful historic home less than 10 minutes to the train station. I was warmly greeted and given tips on what to see woth the few hours I had. My room was lovely. A good continental breakfast was served.

Nothing to report, but be aware this place only takes cash so I'm glad I was there just one night. It was not clear in the booking.

Nice property with character, somewhat at age

Very nice styling, lots of antique details. Breakfast was really good and the hosts were friendly and helpful. Bathroom and bed were nice and clean.

The place and the room are a really cluttered with stuff. Some of the furniture is very worn out and not very clean.

Luc, the host, was welcoming and friendly. We really love the antiques and ambiance of the place. It really is a beautiful place to stay. The room was very comfortable, and the artwork was fabulous. The bathroom is huge. All the antiques and ambiance of the place. Breakfast was wonderful. Very centrally located with easy access to transit.

You have to pay cash, no credit or Interact accepted. My fault for not noticing this on the website. Also hotel taxes that we all forget must be paid. Don't let this catch you off guard, as it might be difficult to get a large amount of euros out of an ATM.

Great welcome and generally throughout our stay from Carmel and Luc. Breakfast was amazingly plentiful, set out beautifully too. Room was huge with bath and shower.

Exceptional

Absolute gem in Antwerp at perfect walking distance: The B&B is beautiful. The hallway of the building is impressive in its architecture. Upon arrival the very kind host provides you with useful information for your trip. Our room was spacious, clean and stylish with wooden floors and tasteful interior. Bathroom had shower, two basins and a bathtub. High quality bed linens and comfortable mattress. The room also included a surprisingly affordable minibar. We had an AC which was helpful since room was to the street side and you could close the windows at night. Good breakfast in light and charming breakfast room. Highly recommended.

Beautiful house, large room and bathroom very nicely decorated. The location of the B&B is perfect, at walking distance from the station and close to Antwerp’s main attractions. very nice breakfast too! The owners were very nice and welcoming, making me feel at home.

This is not a place for people with mobility problems, no lift, the stairs are rather steep and the bed and bath are quite large and high

A gem of a place.

We felt so welcome at this unique B+B. Carmel and Luc were around to have a chat, give us some tips for visiting and restaurants and to make sure that all was well. The decor was stunning and tasteful, both room and bathroom were extremely spacious and comfortable and the location next to the train station and centre was perfect. The breakfasts were more than adequate, fresh and there was a good choice. The Baron was a gem in a lovely city.
