The apartment is in a great position and was quiet and comfortable.

The apartment a bit of a time-warp with the furniture and pictures, etc. but very comfortable and having a room overlooking the main square and actually in one of the towers was fabulous.

Wonderful, fairy tale experience! Plus best gelato shop in the world!

The location was stunning and the apartment was truly amazing - right in the centre of town overlooking the town square and church. The apartment had everything needed for a comfortable stay. This was one of those experiences in life which you can never forget - staying in a place which is 800 years old within a medieval town was breath-taking! Filippo is the owner and he took very good care of us, we met him at his shop near the San Matteo gate where he took us to his close-by private garage to park the car. He then gave us a quick tour of the town, taking care to help us to understand the many winding and narrow streets. The town is very interesting with many things to do and see and an enormous number of authentic Italian food suppliers as well as the most amazing Italian ceramic shop where we bought some lovely Sicilian lemon patterned bowls and plates. Don't forget the worlds best gelato shop (Dondoli's) is based here too, it's worth a trip or two to taste the huge range of gelato on offer! Filippo was a perfect host with a perfect accommodation - thank you Filippo!

Special experience, to stay in one of San Gimi’s famous towers

Staying in a spacious apartment right inside one of San Gimi’s towers, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and 2 balconies. What’s not to like? Our host Fillipo was charming and helped us get unlost more than once. (We are “direction challenged.”). The lodging was just steps away from the duomo piazza and central to everything in this exceptional medieval hill town.

Wonderful stay in San Gimignano

This apartment has a window that looks out to the piazza where the church is located. The beds were comfy and the unit was quite clean (there were a couple of issues I mentioned to the owner on checkout, who said he would address them.) There are so many restaurants, coffee bars and shops nearby. It’s a lively little town, full of tourists even in April, but quiet at night. The owner offered secure parking in his garage for 10 Euro a night, and it was so worth it. We’d highly recommend staying here for an enjoyable and unique experience.

Highly recommended central apartment. Great for short term stay

Filippo our host was fantastic. Spoke good English as our Italian is not good. He met on arrival by hire car outside the city walls and drove us up into central SG to drop off our bags. Then provided secure safe parking only 10 Euros Day short walk outside city walls. Filippo showed us where to go few restaurants points of interest etc. Meet as arranged by phone as we arrived and very helpful. Location excellent and our own window looking over the main Piazza. 1100 AD Tower room very special. Large spacious well-appointed bedrooms living area. The sounds of the city at night brilliant as we sat in the tower room with our evening drinks

Lovely apartment in an amazing location in the middle of San Gimignano!

The best location in a medieval tower in the middle of San Gimignano. Filippo gave good instructions on how to find him. We parked our car in his secure garage near the city wall which was a 10 minute walk from the apartment. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We would stay again.

A beautiful flat, which makes you feel the real medieval San Giminano.

The flat is in the middle of a medieval building. It is amazing from outside and inside as well. The are two toilets which makes your stay comfortable if you are with a bigger company. The rooms are on the floor, the kitchen and the bathroom is on the ground floor. It is well equipped, you have everything you need. Filippo is amazing , he is very friendly and the communication with him was very easy. We could park our car in his garage for 10 EUR. Bars, restaurants are closed.

Book this place! It is so unique and special.

Location could not be better and what a unique experience staying in one of the towers. The accommodations were very nice with two bedrooms, a kitchen, dining area and living space. I was a little worried about arranging key pickup and car parking but nothing could have been smoother or better. No problem at all.

Awesome location! Nice

Mr. Filipoo was waiting for us upon arrival and he showed us everything. he showed us the accommodation in detail and helped us park. The accommodation is located in a historic building in the heart of the city. The accommodation has furniture and various decorations that will introduce you even more and prove that you really live in a prison. There is a beautiful view of the square from the accommodation. The host was very helpful with everything we needed, we will definitely come back!
