Our host Kate, was absolutely lovely and wanted to do everything possible to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Such a lovely lady who takes great pride in her B&B and clearly and genuinely cares for her guests. It was the cleanest property we’ve ever stayed in. She also made a great breakfast sourcing local, good quality ingredients. My husband said it was the best black pudding he’d ever had and my scrambled eggs and salmon were perfectly cooked. Fresh fruit and yoghurts were prepared too😋
The room was small and it was a little further from town than expected so we couldn’t walk into Kyle in the evening but the bed was comfy and we didn’t want for anything. It was nice chatting to the other guests at breakfast and the accommodation had a warm homely, personal feel to it which more than compensated and made it a good base to explore from.

Kates place was lovely and so is Kate.. Accommodation was very clean, and everything you need. Breakfast was lovely and plenty of it.
Although the location is very quiet and peaceful its a little further out of the town, but thats a tiny trade off for the peace.

Location was good for our trip on the NC500. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice. Kate was an excellent host.
Our room had a seperate bathroom on the landing.
