This BnB in Balmacara really saved my brother and I after we'd planned to camp before seeing forecasts of 50mph winds and torrential rain - we were incredibly grateful for its availability on a Saturday night at the last minute!
Access was easy (lockbox) and the rooms were well equipped despite their size and the beds were comfortable. The biscuits and tea cakes were a lovely touch too.
However, the real selling points of this BnB are its location and the breakfast! It really is located in an awesome place, right at the gateway across to Skye which you can see across the loch right outside the property - the views were stunning! Breakfast was continental style, but there was plenty to choose from and all the options were incredibly tasty.
Our host, who we met in the morning, was super friendly too, so overall we had a fantastic stay.
Our only gripe was the size of the room really - it was a little small for my brother and I, and the bathroom / shower unit was a little small for taller / larger people.
