Grab doesn’t work in khao lak. So you have to book cab through property.

Exceptional stay with comfort, great service, and a relaxed location

This was easily the highlight of our bookings. The room was massive, the bed was equally huge and incredibly comfortable, and everything felt spacious and relaxing. Breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice, and every member of staff we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Overall, the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. The resort is slightly off the main busy area of Khao Lak, but that actually added to the relaxed feel. There are still a few things within walking distance (depending on how far you like to walk), including some very good restaurants and a mini mart just down the road. We were also able to walk along the beach to places like Bang Niang Beach and the Bang Niang Market, which was a great bonus. Highly recommended if you want comfort, great service, and a peaceful stay without feeling isolated.

Our second visit to Khao Lak Blue Lagoon. Vee and her team are excellent and all strive to ensure guests are happy and comfortable. Super friendly, welcoming and kind.

Amazing, friendly staff at a lovely small resort.

We decided on the Blue Lagoon Resort because it was a small family run resort. All the staff were amazing and very friendly. The bungalows were luxurious, clean and spacious, which backed onto the lagoon. The restaurant served excellent well priced food and the other local restaurants were friendly and welcoming. The beach was stunning, just across the road and was clean and quiet. Highly recommend and would be happy to return.

Loved the peace and quiet, the locals around at the hotel and beach, made it a genuine experience, not touristy at all. Everyone was absolutely amazing, sweet and helpful at the resort.

Was a bit put off by the wildlife in the room at times, but you are basically in the jungle which is so amazing, too, so I guess that's partly unavoidable...

wonderful relaxing stay

We had a wonderful stay at BlueLagoon! The villas are very comfortable and the service is great. All the staff is so nice and helpful. It’s a family owned hotel and therefore very cozy and peaceful. Every day fresh towels (also two per person for the beach/pool), fresh flowers, if you wish a bed at the beach…. You can use bicycles or rent a scooter. The restaurant is very good (good prices!) and there is varied food. The beach is beautiful and just over a small street. The pool is also nice and the garden as well. We highly recommend this hotel and want come back.

Beautiful and quiet resort right by the beach

Wonderful resort right by a stunningly beautiful beach. The villa was extremely comfortable, quiet and clean. Personnel was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant offers a very good breakfast and dinner, there is another restaurant, a mini mart and an ATM just around the corner. The resort provides bicycles for rent at no charge, if you want to go to the nearby village. Highly recommended for anyone who likes a quiet place in the middle of lush tropical nature and a breathtaking beach!

A perfect place to unwind after travelling throughout SEA!

A lovely boutique resort located in a quiet area of Khao Lak. The resort is across a very quiet street from an amazing beach (the beach is literally right there folks, so don't let this stop you). The bungalows are located at the back of the property a short walk from the reception, restaurant, pool and beach. The gardens throughout are beautiful. The staff were excellent, as was the food at the restaurant. Coconut Beach is a short scooter ride away if you want more action.

Bungalow complex is located 50m from the beach. You can take a lounger in the hotel and lie in the shade. Great breakfast! Very clean in the rooms and on the premises. In the evenings the sounds of the jungle are very pleasant for sleeping.

Toller Bungalow mit Blick auf die Mangroven, beim Personal hat die Herzlichkeit gefehlt

Unser Bungalow war riesig und sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Terrasse hatte einen wirklich super Ausblick auf die Mangroven, wo wir auch ab und zu einen sehr scheuen Waran beobachten konnten. Der Strand war sauber und schön zum Baden, aber nichts zum Schnorcheln, weil es keine Felsen gibt. Frühstück war okay, das Obst war immer schön angerichtet.

Das Personal im Restaurant war freundlich, aber nicht herzlich oder offen, wir hatten das Gefühl, dass sie vielleicht unter Druck standen, keine Fehler zu machen, weil sie dann ihren Job verlieren? Diese Stimmung hat uns nicht gefallen, wir sind zum Essen zu Fuß in eines der nahegelegenen Restaurants gegangen und haben dort die landestypische Herzlichkeit genossen.

Ruhiger Ort zum Relaxen, Strand und Zweisamkeit in eher familiärem Umfeld genießen

Strand war 12/2025 sehr schön und ruhig, halt über eine kleine Straße zu erreichen, Frühstück gut, Zimmer großzügig, Anlage ist eher weitläufig und wird von vielen Longstay Pärchen geschätzt. Poolanlage ist eher kleiner, die Anzahl der Liegen dort begrenzt. Die Leitung = Vee ist wirklich sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die ruhige Lage etwas abseits lädt zum Relaxen ein, wer es etwas quirliger wünscht, sollte mobil sein. Hat eher Homestay als Hotel/Resort Charakter, Nice Place.

Manche, wiederkehrende Longstay Gäste entwickeln wohl über die Jahre eine gewisse Kleingärtnermentalität ;-), stört aber nicht wirklich.

Pěkné a čisté ubytování ve vilkách. Docela daleko do centra a cesta taxíkem za 300 THB je poměrně drahá. Ale zase je zde klid a v nedalekém krámku lze koupit skoro vše. Snídaně i jídla v restauraci jsou v pohodě. V době našeho pobytu bylo moře dost cítit rybinou, byly medůzy a docela vlny, takže jsme se nekoupali, ale pláž je pěkná na procházky. Hotel zde má slunečníky a lehátka, která jsme nevyužili, ale byla vždy volná k dispozici. Raději jsme po procházce u moře leželi v klídečku na terase u vilky. Bazén je v pohodě, je zde také pár slunečníků a lehátek. Pobyt zde jsme si užili a děkujeme veškerému personálu za pohodový pobyt.

Podle mě tvrdší postele. Pro nás osobně bylo trochu nepříjemné, že je bazén hned vedle restaurace a u cesty.

Ruhige Anlage, viele Pärchen und wenige Familien. Direkter Zugang mit Liegen zum Strand. Restaurants, Minimart und Massage fußläufig erreichbar. Personal sehr freundlich. Der Mango Shake war der Beste in unserem Thailand Urlaub. Sehr leckeres Frühstück!

Uns hat die gepflegte kleine Bungalowanlage mit den vielen Pflanzen hervorragend gefallen, die netten Menschen und das gute Restaurant mit einem sehr guten Essen. Strandnah und fernab des Trubels von KhaoLak oder der Hotels. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

Ausgezeichnete ruhige kleine Oase in Khao Lak

Die kleine familiär geführte Anlage ist sehr schön angelegt. Vee und ihre Familie kümmern sich sehr herzlich um die Gäste und sind jederzeit ansprechbar. Die Häuser sind modern, sehr sauber und sehr liebevoll und gut ausgestattet. Die Terrasse ist mit 2. Liegen und einem Tisch mit 2. Stühlen ausgestattet. Der Ausblick von den Deluxe Bungalows ist ein Traum und man blickt in die tropische Natur. Das Restaurant ist sowohl zum Frühstück als auch zu allen anderen Mahlzeiten sehr gut und bietet eine vielseitige Karte. In der Umgebung sind fußläufig 3 weitere Restaurants und ein kleiner Supermarkt zu erreichen. Wir würden die Anlage auf alle Fälle wieder buchen und jedem empfehlen, der es lieber ruhig mag und kein Fan von großen Hotels ist.

Wenn man etwas bemängeln MÜSSTE, dann wäre es vielleicht der Strand, da es etwas abwärts geht und es schwer ist, bei Wellengang darin zu baden. Aber trotzdem sehr schön und sehr ruhig.

Absolute Empfehlung

Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Ein kleines süßes Hotel mit Grünanlage direkt am Strand. Super schöne Zimmer und das Personal war super freundlich. Bei Fragen wurde einem direkt weiter geholfen und das Frühstück war auch lecker.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in KhaoLak.

Schöner Pool, Bungalows sind ruhig gelegen umgeben von Palmen und Wasser. Die Bungalow werden täglich gut gereinigt. Überall in der Anlage sind sehr schöne Blumenengagements.

Die guten Bewertungen kann ich nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Die Einrichtung ist recht einfach. Klimaanlage in unserem Schlafzimmer sehr laut. Meine Freundin hat sich am ersten Tag beim Füße abspülen den Fuß verbrannt, da bei mittlerer Einstellung der Armatur sehr heißes Wasser kommt (vorheriger Hinweis wäre unbedingt wichtig) Frühstück ist okay, bissl eintönig, da wenig Auswahl-schöner Obstteller. Hätte mir auch mal ne Gurke oder Tomate gewünscht, oder mal bisschen Fisch. Am Pool wenig Service, man muss immer selbst zum Personal. Toiletten im Poolbereich müssten auch tagsüber mal gereinigt werden bzw Papier nachgelegt werden. (Obwohl ausreichend Personal vorhanden, aber viel am Handy) Strand gleich über die Straße ist sehr schön, aber leider viel Müll. Auch entlang der Straße…

Traumhafte Oase

Es war für uns ein traumhafter Urlaub. Vee ist es gelungen eine Oase aufzubauen. Wir waren im Bungalow untergebracht, wo man viel Platz hat und ausreichend private Sphäre. Personal ist nett und aufmerksam, Bungalow wurde täglich geputzt. Über die Straße landet man gleich am Strand und es wurden für uns Liegen und Sonnenschirme aufgestellt. Es hat sich gefühlt wie ein Strand nur für uns. Beim Pool kann man auch schön entspannen. Frühstück wird a La carte serviert, für uns immer ausreichend und lecker. Dazu kam auch ein Obstteller. Wir haben paar Restaurants ausprobiert, aber dann sind wir dem Restaurant in der Anlage treu geblieben. Da hat es uns am besten geschmeckt.

Wenn man unbedingt was suchen würde, für uns waren die Betten zu hart.
