It was great, highly recommend- especially if you have a car or bike as it is a bit in the country

A little bit outside the city so I would recommend having a car or bikes if you don’t want to pay for a taxi each time you go to and from.

Location was nice

Felt like we were imposing on the owner when we arrived and when we left. Despite check out being 11:30, we were told we disturbed the owner at 11:30 as she was taking a web-meeting. I didn’t realise breakfast was not included as it is listed as B&B. Especially as I sent an email saying I could only eat gluten free food and they responded that ‘it had been noted’. After discussion, they said they could provide breakfast for €15 per person but ‘what was Gluten free?’, despite the earlier email exchange (although it was signed by the owner it wasn’t apparently written by the owner?!). Honestly I would have cancelled if I had of know breakfast was not included for €260 for 2 nights!! Really it should be listed as a B minus B.

Das Polderlicht war retrospektiv betrachtet nicht die passende Unterkunft für uns.

Das Zimmer war geräumig. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Die Gastgeberin war nett. Die Lage war super. Mitten im Nirgendwo und trotzdem in kürzester Zeit mit dem Fahrrad am Strand oder in Blankenberge. Nach Brügge sind es ca. 15 min mit dem Auto. Das Mobiliar auf der Terrasse war sehr bequem und Wetter beständig.

Der Zustand und die Sauberkeit der Küche lässt extrem zu Wünschen übrig. Als Bsp.: Der Boden der Besteckschublade lief Gefahr, beim Herausziehen herauszufallen. Die Dunstabzugshaube saß mit Fett zu. Der Backofen war ebenfalls sehr verdreckt. Wir haben in der Küche lediglich den Wasserkocher und Kühlschrank benutzt. Frühstück wurde nur auf Nachfrage unserer seits angeboten. Und auch nur "very basic". Es machte auf uns den Eindruck, dass die Gastgeberin eigentlich keine Lust darauf hat. Wir haben das "Angebot" nicht in Anspruch genommen. Im Zimmer hatten wir nachts regelmäßig die Mücken zu Gast. Der "Stecker" der die Mücken abtöten sollte, funktionierte nicht vollumfänglich. Es blieben immer ein paar übrig. Die Nächste wurde sehr lang. Die Dachrinne unter unserem Fenster stand mit voll mit Wasser, da der Abfluss verstopft war. Ein Königreich für Mücken. Der Gastgeberin fehle der Mann im Haus, um sich um sowas zu kümmern. Zu erwähnen wäre noch das die Räumlichkeiten sehr hellhörig sind und man an den nächtlichen Aktivitäten anderer Bewohner akustisch immer mit teilnimmt.

Heerlijk rustige omgeving, maar dichtbij de kust. Ruime kamer en prachtige badkamer.

Mooie b&b op heerlijk rustige locatie. Ruime kamer, comfortabel ingericht. Zeer ruime badkamer met heerlijke douche. Je moet even de gang op om er naartoe te gaan. Fijne gastvrouw.

ontbijt is niet inbegrepen maar voldoende faciliteiten om zelf iets te maken.
