Loved it

We had a lovely week at Priory lodge.... Fiona is lovely and made sure we was happy with everything. The room was clean and the view of the sea from our balcony was amazing. The breakfast was very good, well worth the cost. Really enjoyed our stay... thank you

Simply a must if your wanting a family get away to newquay

Staff were friendly the room was great the pool was perfect for my daughter could have stayed there the whole time if we never made plans

Good hotel!

Nice hotel in a scenic neighbourhood in Newquay. Lots of restaurants, cafes and foodstores within walking distance. And of course, the beautiful beaches was close by. I even had my own patio. Fiona who runs the place was also super nice!

Stay here, you won't regret it!

The charm and comfort of this property was so delightful!!! It felt like being at home, and came at exactly the right time for us, during our trip. We need the space, the lounge areas, the relaxed private dining options, the quiet. Could not have been any better for us.

The same discovery as all other English accommodation... no lifts for luggage!!!!🤣😜

we had a nice time in Newquay and the hotels location was ideal to be in the heart of the town.

i left my coat behind and they have posted it on to me. Fiona was really friendly and welcoming. the hotel is very handy for the centre of town. we were surprised thta it had a pool but the weather was a bit too rainy for us to use it.

the room was a bit dated. the shower could have had a better control and there were loose fittings in the bathroom.

Warm, welcoming and relaxing.

We loved the sea view from our gorgeous family room. We also loved the balcony so we could enjoy the view. The separate room for the kids was useful. Also enjoyed the flexibility of being able to have our own food and drink in the evenings. The kids loved the pool too. The location was also ideal. Fiona’s hospitality was great.

Fiona was amazing, so friendly. The pool was a massive asset for us! Lovely quaint, clean hotel! I would highly recommend and would return in a heartbeat again! Breakfast was lovely also! Everything was great, we would have used a bar facility if it was available.

After a 5 hour journey was greeted by the wonderful Fiona She was incredibly helpful and made our first trip to Cornwall fantastic

The Priory Lodge

The staff were great, and Fiona especially went out of her way to make sure you had everything you needed It has an oldy world feel to it when you enter, which is totally diffrent to the moden day hotels, but dont be put off as it gives it a very homely warm feel and is very clean and well kept and even has its own outdoor swimming pool. The location is also great right in the heart of Newquay with access to it pubs restaurants and nightlife. It also has its parking, which is a real bonus. As I said, Fiona, who owns the hotel, is very professional and makes sure everything is spot on and is passionate about her hotel and keeping the customers happy. We will definitely be going back

Just my opinion

Loved the pool on hand. The staff were so helpful and couldn't do enough to help with anything. The room was lovely with the onsuite bathroom with a shower. great location close to town and beach

Great holiday!

The location was great, close to town. Our room was a lovely family annexe by the pool, lovely and clean. Our Hosts were really helpful but not obtrusive. Lovely quiet location. The beds were clean and comfy. The pool was a little chilly, but we braved it a couple of times! We really enjoyed our stay, thank you Fiona 🫶 x

A shaver plug might have been handy, and Internet connection in the room would have been great!

Another week in Newquay

This hotel has some good views over the bay, plus you can see lovely sunsets, Fiona is a lovely lady who makes you feel at home as soon as you walk through the door, there is an outdoor pool which I didnt get chance to use but would be nice in the hot weather. Its also only a short walk to the middle of the town where you can then go either way to each end of the town, with lots of pubs/bars and resturants

I couldn’t wait to go home.

The apartment was really neat. The host was friendly and approachable.

The toilet and bathroom were very small, i could hardly fit into the WC space. There was no window blinds just curtains making the room always bright and affecting quality of sleep. No wifi upstairs and the network coverage was very poor.

Gem of a place

Fiona & her team are so welcoming & friendly. Our room was very clean & spacious with the added bonus of being by the poolside. The town centre was a short walk away. We will definitely be back.

Fabulous hotel...

We had an annexe room,it had 2 rooms ,very spacious and a lovely balcony with sea view...patio doors and a few steps down to a beautiful outdoor pool area.Fiona was lovely ..so helpful...a super carpark and a really fantastic hotel to stay in ..5 minute walk to the beach and town centre ..we shall definitely stay there again!..

Beautiful

I had a patio room was brilliant, especially for the money, and on a bank holiday weekend . The lady who runs it was a diamond, hard pressed to find a nicer person.

Couple hairs on shower floor, and a stain on sheet of bed but the bit that was almost touching the floor so didn’t affect us in anyway. And for the money for a bank holiday weekend 2 hairs in a shower and a stain on the sheet isn’t the end of the world at all

A very laid back hotel which also felt.

Location was perfect minutes from shops,bars,beaches and harbour but in a quiet location but very accessible. This hotel was different to what we are used to in that you are free to do your own thing ie you can take food and drink into the hotel and there are separate areas to accommodate this with plates etc provided. There is also the use of two large fridges which is a real bonus. You are left to your own devices collecting clean towels and provisions when you need them but Fiona was never far away from any questions you might have. We didn’t have breakfast but is available. If we visit Newquay again this is where we will want to stay.

Water pressure for the shower wasn’t as good as we would have liked but there was plenty of hot water at any time. The bath towels were small.

We love our stay at priory lodge and were planning to be back soon

The hotel has a lovely charm. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. We loved our room as it was big and i think we were upgraded as we got 2 bedrooms and a balcony. And the view from our room was beautiful. The heated swimming pool was perfect and my son loved it so much.
