Lovely chill beautiful beach

Amazing location on beautiful beach. Great beachfront cottages with wonderful outdoor shower. Very chilled vibe for restaurant and bar. One of tbe best breakfast settings we have had. Free kayaking. We were a family of 3 and they accommodated extra bed in beachfront cottages with plenty of space, very big room.

Beautiful hotel in a secluded area

Gorgeous property and the beach front bungalows are incredible to stay in. Rooms are really clean and comfy. The breakfast was really good and a stunning room to eat in. The food at the onsite restaurant was really nice too, although service was quite slow.

The hotel is quite out of the way, there’s nothing much around the hotel in walking distance so you’re relying on Grab/Bolt taxis to get around which is possible but could take a while sometimes. Because of this, having more facilities at the hotel (i.e a gym or shuttle service to AO Nang) would be really helpful.

It’s all about that beach view - amazing sunsets

The beach front rooms are the sole reason to stay here . Stunning views , tranquil beach that changes as the tide comes and goes . Breakfast was very good and the food in the restaurant in an evening was actually good value and fine compared to other hotels on beach . 3 nights was the perfect stay . Hong island trip in long tail direct from beach .

It’s a little dated the complex as a whole but it’s has a rustic charm in the beach front bungalows . Little out of the way but taxi to Klong muang is only 600 baht return

Unbeatable Beach Location with a Solid Three-Star Experience

This is a classic three-star beachfront hotel, and that is clearly noticeable — but in a fair and realistic way. We stayed in a room with direct pool access, which was very nice and convenient. You can tell that this is not a four-star resort, especially in terms of design and overall concept. In some areas, it is noticeable that parts of the building structure, such as wooden elements or walls, could benefit from renovation or fresh paint. However, this is not dramatic, and overall the hotel is in good condition, especially regarding cleanliness and maintenance, which makes it easy to recommend. The areas behind the buildings, near the room entrances, feel somewhat plain and utilitarian, with long concrete walls and little decoration. A more welcoming design in these sections would further improve the atmosphere. The hotel is located on what is, in our opinion, the most beautiful section of the entire beach. This part of the beach feels exclusive and is usually home to much more expensive resorts. This hotel offers an excellent price–performance ratio while still being situated on a prime stretch of the beach. The view across the sea toward the islands is truly spectacular and very characteristic of Thailand, with dramatic limestone formations rising out of the water — a scenery that feels straight out of a movie and gives the beach a very authentic Thai atmosphere. Sun loungers were always available, and it was easy to find shade under the trees, which made relaxing at the beach very comfortable. One thing to be aware of is that this beach is strongly affected by tides. During low tide, the water can recede 20–30 meters, which is simply part of the natural setting here. Overall, this hotel offers a very good balance between price, location, and beach quality. For guests who prioritize an exceptional beach and scenery, it is a solid choice — and with better service at the beach restaurant, the experience could be significantly improved

Breakfast, unfortunately, was nothing special. The selection, presentation, and taste were rather average. However, the view from the breakfast area over the sea is absolutely stunning and almost makes up for the otherwise modest breakfast experience. The biggest downside of the hotel remains the beach restaurant service, which was very disappointing. Guests are sometimes not greeted, menus are placed on the table without a word, and the overall attitude felt arrogant and unmotivated. It is therefore understandable that many guests chose to dine elsewhere in the evenings. This is especially unfortunate, as improving the service at the beach restaurant would be a huge opportunity to increase guest satisfaction and hotel revenue. Management should definitely pay closer attention to this area. The hotel is quite secluded, with little around it. Beach services and massages are rather expensive for Thai standards, and reaching more restaurants or local life requires a 10-minute taxi ride (around 200 THB).

Delightful stay in Krabi

Such a beautiful, swimmable beach. The beachfront villa is excellent (we upgraded at the hotel for our last night). The sunsets are breathtaking. It’s a wonderful peaceful getaway. Pool access room is great but can sometimes get noisy during the daytime because of kids playing.

Food was below average for us vegetarians but Ao Nang had tons of great options. Will stay here again despite this

Great location, very well maintained. Clean comfy rooms. Scooter hire was a bonus and a great way to get around cheaply and conveniently. Breakfasts were amazing.

A gym would be a welcome inclusion. Arrival and departure could have been 'friendlier'. Also, taking cash for a deposit was something I haven't seen before. Just as well I had it on me.

Location with private like beach, great pools and beach infrastructure with plenty of sunbeds and shade. Quite far from the nearest shops and city atmosfere, but easy to move around. Also several opoortunities to eat in nearby hotels on the same beach. Very relaxing!

If I’m to look for any improvements - the look and feel of beach front villas is a bit outdated; the wifi network is messy with no division between villas which is challenging when trying to connect with in room TV; description of the boat tours could be improved / displayed - to ensure guests are fully aware what to expect and how to prepare.

simply stunning TupKaek

The view was fantastic, the beach simply stunning, quiet and relaxing. The pools were very nice as were the immaculare gardens and water features. The restaurant had a variety of choices of quality food . The staff couldnt do enough to assist in anyway possible, very friendly and courteous and like their tagline says "Refresh your body, Relax your mind" ❤️

The showers had no roof and the bathroom flooded once when it rained. 🤣😂🤣 and 21 light switches were excessive lol.

Beautiful place to relax and rejuvenate.

We were staying on the beach front property with the most beautiful views. This place is away from the crowd and is very quiet both day and night. They have a very good buffet breakfast with both Thai and western breakfast.The staff are very helpful and kind. I arrived in the afternoon unwell from previous stay at Ao Nang and by that evening I began feeling worse. The young lady at reception was very helpful. Sorry I didn’t get her name. This was on Wednesday 22nd October evening. She helped us speak with a doctor at a clinic with which they have a tie-up. The clinic arranged for a pickup and I was able to meet the doctor and get treated. They also arranged for drop back to the property. The treatment helped and I was able to get a good nights rest. We met the same staff again the next morning and she was kind to enquire about how I was feeling. If I come back to Krabi I will definitely book this beautiful property again . They also have a massage/ spa where I took a massage the day we checked out. Their breakfast place and their other restaurant are beachfront with beautiful views.

I liked the quality of the beach bungalow and how comfortable it was. I also thought the breakfast was adequate. The beach was beautiful and the resort is in a wonderful setting.

Liked Quiet and the pools close to the Sea Location Quiet The Beach was nice not too busy . Reception staff were focused and polite. The Bell boys in car park were great helpful. Breakfast staff were good .

I would return to Tup Kaek good value for money

The property was great we had a sea view villa it was amazing. The pools were really clean 👌 Just a perfect spot to sit on your verandah and take in the views and really relax. Beds comfortable and everything clean.

I didn’t find the staff to be friendly stood around talking amongst themselves at breakfast except for one lovely lady who always went out of her way to assist at the restaurant and breakfast (I wish I could remember her name🤔)

Family night away in July

Our family had a spontaneous night here on our way through Krabi. The hotel was amazing, with an absolutely breath taking view over the islands - possibly the best view we have ever seen! We had two garden rooms just yards from the beach and our teenage children spent the day going between the pools and beach, where the free kayak rental was an amazing extra. The water was so warm, clear, calm and shallow and the beach was tranquil with plenty of sunloungers available both in and out of shade. Superb value for money and a great buffet breakfast . Would 100% recommend!

Stay in the beach side cabins at this simple resort for the best value

Beachfront cabins were awesome- can watch the sunset sitting on yur porch. This is a more isolated beach with three or four restaurants and less crowds. It’s a 20 min. Taxi ride into Ao bang so if u need to do excursions u can go from there to Railay beach

The tide goes out in the late afternoon so swimming isn’t as good.

The property was situated on the best, most peaceful beach with amazing views, even from laying in bed (we were in the beach suite). The property is very clean and easy to navigate. Breakfast buffet is expansive and very good, with options from traditional Thai food to more American style as well. The views from the restaurant are even amazing! We absolutely loved our stay here and cannot wait to come back in the future :)

It is a little secluded if your main concern is to hang out in Ao Nang or Krabi town. We personally were okay with that as we were looking for a relaxing experience and good views. We found no problem getting Grab taxi to and from the property, but if you are taking a taxi at night back to the property, they will probably charge you more for the ride due to the distance.

Fantastic, relaxing stay

Amazing beach front resort with super friendly staff. We stayed in one of the beach huts meters away from the beach with patio and huge sliding glass doors facing sea front. Comfortable large bed, bathroom with bathtub and “outdoor” shower. Tasty breakfast with large choice of various foods and a restaurant serving great A la carte menu located literally on the beach. Fantastic for evening meal. Staff really friendly and professional. Super easy check in and out process with golf buggy taking your luggage to your room/hut. Two swimming pools. You can rent a kayak or paddle board too. Parking spaces available in front of the reception or across the road at the private car park.

Non necessarily dislike but the resort is located 20-30mins drive from main tourist attractions and Ao Nang beach. Wasn’t an issue for us as we were driving but could be a bit problematic if you like the busy tourist spots and access to other activities like boat rides. However for us it was perfect.

Clean, peaceful and beautiful

We splurged and went for the beachfront villas, so worth it! They’re beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The bed was so comfy, the room was extremely clean. We loved the pools and walking along the beach.

The only thing that we wish was better, was the breakfast buffet. It was almost inedible which is crazy for how much different food they gave, you’d think at least a handful of dishes would be good, but no. The restaurant was alright, not amazing but not bad.

Beachfront room was excellent. Food in the restaurant was good and reasonably priced. Even though the resort was reasonably full, sometimes we were the only people in the pool!

Staff in the Sunset Beach Bar were not always very attentive and sometimes took awhile to get service. Also breakfast was good variety, but most mornings the food was not hot... even when there at 7am start.
