Tup Kaek Sunset Beach Resort-SHA Plus

Beach was simply amazing, postcard like. Every morning we looked forward to open the curtains and see the beautiful scenery in front of us. Very private room and garden/terrace.

Staff was nice but it was hard to communicate with them at times because of language barrier. I was planning my proposal there during the stay and I found the staff not the most helpful or arranging to organize it. Still managed to make it a special moment and everything went well in the end. Would still recommend the place.

The location is right by the beach, which is lovely. It is a quiet area, away from town. I liked the spacious rooms. We had two rooms - the pool view and the beachfront room. The beachfront rooms could definitely use an upgrade, as they look a bit dated, but the pool view rooms were newer and nicer. Lover the shower ! I liked the two pools plus beachfront sunbeds. Overall a nice area.

The air conditioning in the pool view room (2200) did not work, the temperature was not adjustable, so it was either really hot without the air con on or extremely cold if it was on. I did ask the reception to look into it, they send two "technicians" who just giggled by the remote for 3 minutes and just left, saying it will be fixed in 15 minutes - it was not, so we had to survive without the aircon, so we wouldnt get sick from the cold. Also the room 2200 had an unpleasant musty smell, beachfront room was ok. The customer service overall was lacking, no warm hospitality in the restaurant also very poor English, nobody really understood anything. The quality of the food at breakfast and the beach-side restaurant could be well improved also. Sometimes the restaurant dishes were ok, other times even bad.

The amenities in the property like conditioner , tooth brush , paste , extra towel when you know there are 3 people in the room there was only 2 towels , the breakfast awful not many options

The beach is beautiful, the beach front villa is amazing, waking up to the view and the sound of the sea is absolutely priceless.

1. The shower is below expectations, water pressure low and the temperature is inconsistent 2. The beds are very hard 3. The restaurant and mini bar are over priced *2 or more than normal prices in Thailand 4. Maintenance is average and the hotel need renovations 5. Air conditioning is weak 6. It is far from center, it didnt bother me cause we used grab but take it into consideration
