All good !

A very nice place with a clean and comfy room. Bathroom was ok, waterpressure was good and AC worked fine. Bed a bid on the hard side, but we like it that way. A good breakfast and very nice staff. Thank you! The location is great, if you don´t want to be in the middle of the Krabi action. You can ask the hotel to get a scooter. You probably pay a bit more than "downtown" Krabi, but get it delivered to the hotel. To get to the start of the Khao Ngon Nature walk takes about 15 minutes on foot. The walk is nice but not to be underestimated! Uphill for 1,5 hours solid. Nice viewpoint at the end - but you really work for it. Best not in flip flops but proper shoes.

No sunbeds at the beach, which is a shame. For reading my old bones prefer a sunbed. At low tide you really have to walk far to get a swim. Bring booties or similar as the corals/shells/ stones can make that walk unpleasant.

The staff at the hotel are amazing, so kind and helpful. We were able to book trips, transport, get massages and amazing food right at our hotel. We ate here every day it was so good. Great breakfast, lovely cat, good vibes.

Rooms are a bit small, not a luxury place but what it lacks in aesthetics it makes up for in character and charm. Amazing food and best Thai iced tea we’ve had. Loved it.

Great beach front restaurant, simple but good hotel

Amazing on the beach location and their excellent on the beach restaurant. Owner and staff run a very friendly , clean and professional bustling busy place. Good breakfast. Massage at the hotel restaurant. Very helpful place that helped us book a boat to our next destination which had been impossible for us to figure out on our own. Rooms have great big windows with sea view.

Awesome small hotel in a perfect location

If you are looking for a great location without the fuss and formalities of a five star hotel - search no further. Excellent location right on the beach, very comfortable and well appointed rooms with full sea view, clean, very helpful staff… the hotel is ran with care and you will get all the beach magic for third of a price compared to the row of other neighbouring properties. Also good wifi, a nice restaurant… perfect for nomad remote work or just hassle-free, bare feet moments.

Glorious beach!

Wow. The location of this place is exceptional. The beach was our favorite in Thailand, and we would have been priced out of it if it had not been for Baan Tubkaek.

You should be aware that you'll be staying at the least expensive place at this amazing beach. That means you can't walk over to another hotel to find a better deal on drinks or breakfast--everything else is much more pricy. We actually took a Grab to a nearby town just to get some less expensive food.

Good stay, but smokers will drive you mad if you are non smoker

It is fronting the sea so it is literally on a sea side. The staff was helpful. The rooms are small but clean and nice.

1. The biggest problem are smokers. They are allowed to sit in the restaurant in the same space with non smokers. Attempt to ask stuff to help organise areas do not really help, the smokers generally ignore any kind asks not to smoke in public place. 2. The bed linen smells strong washing detergent 3. Parking is very small only 3-4 cars, where 2-3 are used by locals . 4. Made the wheel flat due to sharp metal piece on the parking , no repair shops around

A pity for its location

Staff were very nice. Place is simple and kept clean at all times.

Location was too isolated and thus, food options are limited. Restaurant food and massage services are more expensive than what you could get in town area. While staff are friendly, i won't stay here again since everything is overpriced due to its isolation

The restaurant is located next to the seaside.

The property boasts about seaview, which should have been called treeview. Small rooms and a tiny balcony. The road passes just behind the bedroom, and is noticeable. There is no secret that this is an overpriced area, and this hotel is no exception. Rating this hotel at 8,7 in booking.com is absurd. When we decided to cancel our stay, the hotel overcharged the room rate by 2x.

Exceptional

The stuff are wonderful and made me feel part of the family. It is located at a very relaxing beach in front of the bay of Phang Nga and the restaurant on the beach have very nice food. It is very close to Koh Hong island and the Dragon Crest so the location is perfect to visit these two places. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.

Economy price considering to location (beach font) - This cost is rare in Krabi beach font. Im feel very impressive to see the owner who try to clean the beach, collect garbage by himself. Owner and staff are quite nice to facilitate all guests. Location is perfect on quiet areas and beach font. Suitable for our family who love peaceful area. Breakfast is wonderful in terms of taste and variety. They provide variety food (both local and international) and ROTATED menus... Unlike most hotel that provide same BF every day and make guest get bored from same menus. Thanks for this thoughtful ways to treat customers :) Room is quite basic but it is ok for me. Since, I prefer something simple like this :)

However, it hard to find restaurant (esp. street food) in this area so that it might difficult for those who travel without own car. Whereas, food in the hotel quite pricey. I have bad experience in dinning. There were many customers come in and order more than 20 lists. Cook can't manage all orders in timely manner. We wait 2 hrs for just one order :( They might need to RETHINK how to manage queues between 1-order customers and 20 order-customers. In super market, they even have different cashier line for many-items purchaser VS a few items -purchaser. Since, it is not fair to keep same line for bulk and single order.

This place is wonderful! I would love to go back to it again and again

The location is perfect - actual beach-front with direct access to a nice and quite beach; The rooms are exactly the right size - big enough if you want to stay a bit indoors and yet compact; Everything in the rooms is fresh and working well; I must compliment the wonderful views from the rooms - ocean view rooms are really with a view of the ocean. The staff is extremely polite and are trying really hard to make our stay as comfortable and nice as possible; Additionally, they have a very good small tour office in the hotel, where you can choose a lot of different tours, our experience tells that you can and should try to negotiate some more specific daily tours with some additional stops - if possible, they will try to meet your every wish for a reasonable cost; We asked for a scooter rental and they delivered them to the hotel, which was a really nice small bonus.

The staff is extremely nice and welcoming, however, English skills have some room for improvement, there were a few situations where misunderstandings occurred due to language skills; The breakfast is nice, however, during our stay, it was fixed the same for every day - it is still with good variety of fruits and local foods, but after a longer period of time it gets a bit boring; My only serious complaint is that some rooms have the AC unit fixed on the wall over the bed, which can cause some minor cold if abused, other rooms have it fixed over the entry doors and that is a more user-friendly solution for this climate. I would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful holiday destination, as the price-performance is outstanding! Keep in mind, this beach is a bit out of the local village (2-3km) and the village is accessible only by road, so this is more a quite beach, not night-life party pumping area.

A bargain on a quite beach

- the location of the hotel is on the beach - the beach is relatively quite and peaceful - the view from the hotel is wonderful - personell is extremely nice and polite - all services that a traveller might need is provided at the hotel (scooter rental, taxi and shuttle service, tours etc.) - the hotel is located on a beach along with other luxury hotels and this one is a bargain

- the breakfast is the same every day and without a buffet or a menu, it's provided by the hotel as is and after a few days becomes a bit boring; - the personell is extremely nice and helpful, but sometimes poor english skills becomes an issue;

Pas d’intimité car situés sur le passage d’accès à la plage. Obligés de fermer les rideaux pour être à l’abri des regards. J’avais demandé deux lits simples dans 1 des2 bungalow. N’ont pas tenu compte de ma demande. 3) PD minimaliste.

Nous avons eu un peu peur en arrivant mais finalement un séjour incroyable. La chambre n'est pas grande mais super bien agencée, confortable et très propre. J'ai adoré le lit , j'ai super bien dormi. L'emplacement est incroyable à 10 mètres de la plage. Une plage grandiose avec une vue incroyable. De superbes coucher de soleil. Même à marée basse on peut se baigner en marchant loin. La nourriture est délicieuse, le meilleur restaurant de la plage. Le petit déjeuner est très correct, les omelettes sont énormes. Le personnel est super sympathique, souriant et aux petits soins. Le ménage dans la chambre est effectué tous les jours. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir

Die Lage am Strand, die Aussicht vom Zimmerbalkon, das Essen im angeschlossenen Restaurant, das gut aber leider vergleichsweise überteuert war, die Sauberkeit im Zimmer haben mir gut gefallen

Das Zimmer war sehr hellhörig, sowohl der Autolärm und der Motorräder der auf gleicher Höhe in 5 m Entfernung liegenden Straße aber auch die Unterhaltungen der Nachbarn durchdrangen die sehr dümmem Wände der Unterkunft fast ungefiltert.
