Hostel Santo Domingo is in a really great location. Staff were welcoming. It's 2 minutes from the Gran Via. Calao metro is about 2 mins away with great connections. Places for breakfast nearby. Loved it. Would stay again.

Really well located close to everything and short distance to metro stations. The reception is reliably staffed for long hours which is a gift and not always what I experienced. The bed was comfy and the aircon was efficient. Great shower. Also appreciated having a kettle in the room which is also not a ‘given’. There is a lift.
Nothing - this property is good value in a great location with really helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommend and I would stay here again.

Considering the prices in Madrid, the location of the hotel was very good for the price we paid. Very close to metro stations and it's in a good neighbourhood, in front of a police station. The staff was helpful and friendly.
The shower and bathroom were built into the room and there were no ventilation in them. The window of the room was looking to an interior patio and it was high on the wall (like a basement window) and did not open well. Basically there was barely any light in the room or fresh air. They need to update the interior, bed throws, and structure of the rooms.
