It’s a great place to stay in Cagliari, everything was perfect. The only issue was the breakfast area didn’t have a WiFi connection. A big shoutout to all the people working there, they are offering a great service in every aspect.

I usually only write short reviews, however on this occasion, I feel so strongly that this time it is different. I booked this hotel on what seemed a good offer for a 5 star hotel. When you first arrive, the entrance and grounds are impressive and you would indeed have high expectations of something so lovely, however upon arriving inside the hotel, it was shabby, in need of repair in places - mosaic in pool has come away in places, noisy rooms and plumbing noisy waking us in the middle of the night on a few occasions, shower ran hot and cold, toilet flush did not work properly and the push up bath plug got stuck resulting in a visit from maintenance. They quickly addressed the toilet issue, shower improved but not fixed. There was also a very large crack in a large pane of glass on one of the landings. The food and choice at breakfast was very good, however we had to ask for things to be replenished several times. Also, we had followed signs to the roof terrace and ended up on the top floor where old/dirty mattresses, equipment and plastic were being stored. We were later told that this area was due to be refurbished and not for guests. In which case I wondered why they had not covered up the sign or informed us when we arrived. They had what they called a fitness room with some weights and machines but the machines did not look particularly well maintained or safe to use and the room was dark and about 30 degrees as the air con was not turned on, so the fitness room was not in fact ready to be used as a ‘fitness’ room. The man already working out in there when we walked in was sweating and said ‘it’s hot!’. Our guide went to fetch the air con remote and we were later told that the room could be made ready for us on request, however, it was not inviting at all. On the plus side the attitude of staff was excellent and they were friendly and helpful so we cannot fault them or their service. It’s just a shame the hotel building lets them down. There was also a beach club and the entrance to this was not only in need of refurbishing but was dangerous. The floor boards had protruding nails and were rotten in places, and one flipped up out of place when I stepped on it giving me a cut on my toe. The board walk on the beach also had planks sticking up here and there, making it a trip hazard. The wooden changing huts were also in need of repair, however the sun beds and beach were well maintained. Therefore until these issues are addressed we would not recommend this hotel.

Sadly this hotel is superficially nice but the lifts were not working properly, the ac in the room could only be switched on or off ( is it safely serviced to prevent legionella or Pontiac disease?) so played safe and left it off so room was hot. bathroom temp of water difficult to adjust from boiling hot, speaker on TV not working 100 percent, rooftop terrace abandoned and restaurant offered no wine list ( only 2 local wines at 40 and 60 euros ) fish main and octopus starter very bland / tasteless. 25 euros in taxi to airport next door . I get the impression that it is in decline from it's heyday and perhaps the wrong location for a resort hotel. Better to have built a cheap and cheerful one NJ ight stay venue for arriving or departing tourists to have used
