Very kind staff. Clean and comfortable. Parking was easy. We appreciated an unexpected room upgrade which allowed for a view of the lake and a large window to open. Without A/C, having the windows open was crucial and we were also thankful for a fan from the front desk. Breakfast had a good variety of options. The restaurant (we did a la carte for dinner) was good and had many options including traditional Austrian guesthouse favorites and pizzas. The restaurant is popular with both hotel guests and non-guests!
The room was very warm. It seemed that underfloor heating was on in the doorway/closet area and bathroom which contributed to making the room too warm during peak summer heat. The lake view side of the hotel is directly on the street and above the restaurant which causes a good amount of noise in the room during the evening hours if the windows are open.

The staff was really kind and helpful. They have an own restaurant and the diner and the breakfast were really tasty. The Alpe-Adria Trail is goes to just a corner. If you want to take a walk, the lake is pretty close and you can see from the balcony.
The room is pretty simple but it was perfect for me for one night on the Alpe.Adria Trail. Maybe during the main season it is pretty noisy because the main road is in front of the building
