I loved breakfast, design of room and dining area, all furniture was new and very stylish. Cosy and beautiful hotel. Would love to return.

My room was close to dining area and bathroom and I was able to hear talks and walks. Not too bad though. And during the night there was some screaming from the parking lot accross my windows. But it calmed down in 15min or so. Also I prefer when there is a staff member in reception at all times.

What a great find. I was in Karlsruhe unexpectedly and just needed a place to stay. I didn’t do much research but in this occasion I totally lucked out. What a great hotel central, modern, comfortable and clean. The staff were all incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. I had a couple of nights here and I would definitely recommend. I also thought it was great value. I loved the way the elevator doors open directly onto the street - it’s so cool 😎.

- one could not ask for a better location: it is right along the long shopping street (Kaiserstraße) teeming with retail shops & eateries, a tram stop and underground metro stop literally right at its doorstep, supermarkets no further than 2 minutes away by foot :) - the staff are extremely friendly & helpful — special mention goes out to the very hardworking owner: she made us feel so welcomed & special, was ever ready with a recommendation of what to see & where to eat, and even made the effort to remember her individual guests :) - the hotel, itself, is very tastefully decorated in accordance with its fun theme: we especially loved the wall murals of the ship (Titanic) & starship (the Enterprise), and the red carpet in the hallways always made us feel like movie stars :) - the cinema theme continues into the room, but with sufficient restraint so that it did not become kitschy or overwhelming. The colour scheme of the room is also very calm & beautiful :) - the room, though small, did not feel constrictive at all; it was actually very comfortable which speaks to its good design. It also had more than enough storage space for us — we especially liked the long padded bench, generous counter/table space & spacious cupboard for storing our luggage. Though our windows look out onto a big & busy square with trams frequently rumbling by and the underground metro, we barely heard a peep, meaning the insulation of the place is absolutely phenomenal. The room is also exceptionally clean :) - the air conditioning worked perfectly, and we especially appreciated being able to personally control the temperature & fan speed of the air conditioning. It was also very quiet. In addition to blackout curtains, there are also electric shutters to control the amount of sunlight :) - the bathroom is beautiful & clean. We really appreciated the handheld shower head:)

- we, personally, found the bed too hard — and we actually like firm beds, but we both found this one really, really hard. - the wifi was not entirely reliable: we'd be watching a video on our phones & suddenly, it would stop loading... then suddenly start loading again after a bit. - it was basically impossible for either of us to shower and not create puddles on the floor & splashing the untiled wall: the tiled walls of the shower do not extend far enough beyond the shower area (literally stops at the border of the shower tray) & there is no shower curtain nor shower door that prevents water from splashing out of the already small shower tray/area. There is a piece of glass where the shower head holder is mounted onto the wall, but the glass is nowhere near large enough to prevent splashing. - it would have been nice to have had a few more comforts (like a facial tissue box, glasses/cups in the bathroom to hold toothbrushes & for gurgling after brushing, teacups & teaspoons & a small selection of teas, perhaps a kettle, bedroom slippers) to make our stay that little bit more enjoyable.

The walls are thin, and the mattress creaked.
