Romantic getaway in charming hotel in center of old town Brandenburg

The breakfast was great although bit busy, coffee was great. Staff were friendly. The hotel was overall quiet and peaceful surrounding, we didnt sadly have time to try sauna. Bed and pillows were comfy and clean.

Overall is a bit outdated style although it also has it charm. The bathroom needs renovation, shower was so-so. Tv was too tiny too tiny.

Perfect for one night on our home journey

Good beds at a quiet room (at the street side during holiday season!)

At breakfast I got a small cup of coffee. No problem to ask for more, but since my breakfast mainly is coffee and a small bite, I felt uncomfortable to ask for a 3rd or a 4th cup. Maybe place a small thermos on the table?

Staff friendly but the hotel is expensive for the amenities offered.

The hotel is situated well, in the centre of Brandenburg. It is sometimes possible to park outside the hotel (time restrictions for free parking, basically only outside working hours). The hotel does have an underground car park but as a guest one cannot reserve a space and it is quite narrow and cramped (currently €12 / night). Breakfast was above average for a hotel chain and the waitress was particularly helpful and friendly. The rooms are average. The bed was comfortable but there was only space for a bedside table on one side. Be sure to ask for a room overlooking the quadrangle at the rear of the hotel. We did and so our stay was relatively quiet. A friend stayed the week before us and had a room overlooking the front of the hotel and it was very noisy - particularly because one has to have the window open when it is hot.

The room was very warm. A fridge is provided but no mini-bar (it took some time to discover how to turn the fridge on - a plug socket labelled "Fridge" did not have the desired effect - it was only by chance that I found the on/off button in the fridge). The water of the shower was not held at a constant temperature so one had to continually adjust the tap to prevent being scalded or cold shocked. Wifi is provided but the password is only displayed at the reception desk - I suppose this makes it easier if having to change the password frequently but it is not particularly convenient for guests. Normally one would find the password displayed in the information package in the room - such a package however does not exist. There is no service to the rooms unless one specifically asks for it - so no cleaning or bed making. The cosmetic products are available only on request. This is apparently for health and safety reasons but is obviously to save money. The charge for a double room with breakfast is more than €150 a night and so I would expect a little more comfort than that offered.

Very nice two night stay. Room extremely comfortable & staff across the hotel & lovely restaurant helpful & friendly. Easy/secure underground parking for motorcycles which is an additional charge. Central position.

Comfortable hotel and a great location with lovely staff.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. The location was great. The breakfast was really good. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Enjoyable

The room was just right for our needs. Facilities were good as were breakfasts and staff.

Our main issue was that the description led us to believe there is parking at the hotel but when we arrived we found that although there is hotel parking available there is an 11euro/day charge and this was not clear when booking. There was an issue with the room not being cleaned one day for which the hotel was very apologetic.

Could be cleaner. The csrpet in the room was not. Breakfast could be better. There was a vsriety but vegetables were soggy and scrambled eggs were just eggpudding
