This is not a hotel, more like a posh Airbnb.

Room was nice, bed was nice, good view and hotel room temperature.

Do not claim that you have 24/7 check-in in service when you don’t. I had to call to some person to get checked in with Airbnb-style key cache. I wasn’t able to find the cache, and the checking number guy didn’t speak English that well. I almost left after a 30 minute wait at night. You could see from the reception screen that the online guy declined my call. Suddenly a restaurant staff member from same building came to me and called to the online reception guy. The staff member was able to give me a room after some stern discussion in German. The hotel was okay place to sleep in a sense, didn’t ate a breakfast. For some reason a door next my room was sealed (and unsealed) with police tape. It didn’t give a good feeling about the hotel. Without the friendly restaurant member, I would have not got in to hotel at all. If I want an Airbnb experience, I go to Airbnb. Take pictures of the key cache and share them to customers, so people can find it. Lose the online 24/7 reception guy, he clearly had no clue about the hotel at all, and zero customer service capabilities.

Great base to visit Lubeck

Really friendly, very pleasant, traditional hotel where we were made to feel welcome. Dinner on the waterfront was delightful and excellent food. Breakfast set us up perfectly for the day. Very helpful with bike storage.

Quick check-in. Parking nearby with card from reception, only 8 euros per day. Hotel very close to centre.

Breakfast is very simple, and it was not supplied fast enough. Extremely little bowl of scrambled eggs for a hotel service!! I make the same portion for my family at home. Bed was hard, no top-mattress. Nothing fancy about the room, very plain.

Location perfect. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Room, perfect for our needs and had beautiful view. Breakfast as expected was continental and nice. Very good black coffee. Check in and out was easy. Parking was perfect and couldn't be any closer considering hotel location.

The hotel well exceeded our expectations mainly due to location and ambiance.

A characterful hotel in an excellent location - inside the old city, on the waterfront opposite the historic gateway. We were unexpectedly given a suite so room was spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Needed help accessing the wifi to which we then had to log back in unpredictably. Otherwise no complaints though worth noting that there is only short-term parking close to the hotel. But they have a reserved area in a car park a short distance on foot across the water.
