Really friendly staff. Loved being able to take our dog to breakfast and that they offered to cook a sausage for her. It was very easy to get on the riverside walk. Other nice walks nearby.

Needing to have a member of staff be in the pool area while I was swimming put me off using the pool.

Good central location in Hay-on-wye with parking. Very friendly staff and accommodating, finding me an extension lead to help with hair for a wedding we visited. Tasty breakfast. Sadly forgot the swimwear but exciting it also has a pool!

Rooms on smaller size but ok for our needs

We really enjoyed our stay at 7 Stars in Hay on Wye. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, parking was good. The swimming pool was a nice bonus. The breakfast was very good. We were made very welcome.

There were not many options if you wanted a continental breakfast. This didn't really bother me as the other options were good. We are not used to English breakfast, so it made a change for me... my wife just had toast and fruit which was fine.

The location is very good , a short walk from shops, bars and restaurants. Parking is a plus. The breakfast was good.

We had an extremely long journey and were glad to arrive. Unfortunately for us, there was nobody at the reception to check us in, just a note saying 'back in 10 minutes.' In fact there was not a soul to be seen. I needed the bathroom after a long drive, but a note on the downstairs bathroom suggested we used our en-suite, which, of course, wasn't possible. We walked to a near-by pub. This wasn't the best start. Our room was small and hot although we did have a fan. We were at the front of the building facing the road and clock tower.
