We were delighted by the warm reception we received from our hosts and overwhelmed by the beauty of Belmont House, which had been lovingly restored back to its former Georgian glory. The location was also superb, right in the heart of lovely Hay on Wye.

From a warm greeting on arrival Belmont House sets the standard for stylish hospitality. Situated with parking in the centre of Hay-on-Wye Belmont House is perfectly located for strolling bookshops and exploring. When you return you can relax in a beautiful garden or return to a tastefully decorated bedroom fully in sympathy with the elegant building. Breakfast is excellent - and opting for a Japanese one is a rare delight. Absolutely fabulous.

Wonderful place to stay warm and welcoming. Decor and period furniture added to the feel of the house. Gardens beautiful and lovely views.
