Beautiful place for our two night stay in Merano.

Our room was spacious and well appointed. We had a large balcony overlooking the lush back yard of the property. The breakfast area was very tropical and spacious. The quality and variety of food was wonderful. Both husband and wife hosts were very helpful and friendly. Very nice quiet area with a convenient free shuttle bus to take you into town and back. We walked back and forth many times. We loved our stay here.

Lovely family run hotel

This a lovely hotel run by a very friendly family. It's a pleasant walk or easy bus ride into the centre of Merano and handy for the botanical gardens too. I particularly enjoyed relaxing by the pool after a lot of walking and watching the sunset from my balcony with a glass of wine from the local winery.

Perfect Place to stay in Meran - the best Hotel of our trip. Unbelievable friendly host going out of their way to take care of the guest's individual needs. Exceptional breakfast made with local food and love. I totally recommend this Hotel.

Wonderful hotel (no evening meal) in a quiet and leafy part of this elegant and historic town.

Hotel Annabell is in a leafy part of this elegant and historic little town, the nearby streets have splendid villas, and of that wonderful sent of jasmine struck me as we cycled towards the hotel :-). The staff are friendly, the breakfast is wonderful (proper Bircher Muesli!), and we ate in the evening 15 minutes walk away at a place recommended by the owner, which was perfect. The owner also recommended me a bike shop which did the job that needed doing. In short we had a great experience, and are very pleased to have chosen Hotel Annabell. We found it really excellent value for money.

Good and affordable choice

Nice view of mountains, vineyards and palms from the room and the balcony. Very friendly management, we felt welcome. Breakfast on the garden terrace, good coffee. Nice restaurant with garden a few steps away (seems often full).

Everything was fine, only the duvets were too warm for the summer. It's not so close to the city center, but we had bicycles, so it were only 10 minutes.

Das Wasser im Pool war für meinen Geschmack zu kühl. Aber das empfindet jeder anders. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausreichend, ich hätte mir jedoch etwas einfallsreichere vegetarische Alternativen gewünscht z.B. vegane Aufstriche auf Gemüsebasis oder Hummus. Ich esse nicht gern Käse und auch nicht gern süß zum Frühstück.

Preis- Leistung unschlagbar- TOPP

Ein sehr freundliches und sauberes Hotel mit leckerem Frühstück. Das Haus und die Möbel sind zwar etwas älter, haben aber ihren eigenen Charme. Besonders positiv fällt die Helligkeit und die Sauberkeit auf. Die Gastgeber sind immer vor Ort, sehr nett und mit einem freundlichen Lächeln bereit, Auskunft zu geben. Sie erkundigen sich auch nach dem Tag und bevorstehenden Unternehmungen und zeigen echtes Interesse. Es stehen Zeitschriften und Zeitungen kostenlos zur Verfügung. Das Hotel bietet nur Frühstück an, Abendessen kann jedoch in der Umgebung gut eingenommen werden. Eine kleine Auswahl an Getränken ist im Empfangsbereich erhältlich. Ist mit dem Bus/ öffentliche Verkehrsmittel am Tag sehr gut erreichbar.

Man muss beachten, dass der Bus/ öffentliche Verkehrsmittel spät abends nur noch selten fährt, stündlich! Da muss man das Taxi nehmen oder von der Stadt Meran zu Fuss gehen, Spaziergang 25 Minuten, gut machbar! Wenn es kalt ist und/oder regnet nicht so angenehm.

Ruhiger, behaglicher Aufenthalt

Wir haben uns wieder sehr wohl gefühlt, das Haus ist einfach sehr schön, der Frühstücksraum, die Terrasse und der Garten. Im Schwimmbad hatten wir viel Ruhe, habe sogar im Garten auf der Liege gelegen. Unsere Gastgeber sind sehr zuvorkommend, es mangelt an nichts.

Wir waren bereits im Vorjahr in diesem entzückenden Hotel und haben uns auch in diesem Jahr wieder für das Hotel Annabell entschieden. Die Besitzer sind unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit, wir wurden sehr nett empfangen und es wurde uns alles, was wir wissen wollten erklärt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und ordentlich, ebenso das Bad. Es gab ausreichend Platz für unsere Sachen und der Balkon war auch nochmal ein angenehmes Extra. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist großartig - mit vielen lokalen Spezialitäten und auch wunderbaren selbstgemachten Schmankerln der Wirtin (Marmeladen, Kuchen, Strudeln,...). Da ist für jeden etwas dabei, es wird immer frisch nachgelegt. Der Frühstücksraum bietet ausreichend Platz, dass man nicht warten muss, auch wenn einmal mehr los ist. Direkt am Hotel kann man parken und mit ein paar Schritten kommt man zur Busstation, wo man den Bus in die Stadt nehmen kann (man bekommt eine Gästekarte, die auch als Ticket für die Verkehrsmittel dient). Zu Fuß kann man ein Lokal in der Nähe erreichen (sehr praktisch fürs Abendessen) und auch das Schloss Trauttmansdorff. Uns wurden Tipps für Ausflugsziele gegeben und wir hatten jeden Tag einen netten Plausch mit den Besitzern. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt, hier kommen wir auf jeden fall sehr gerne wieder her.
