Nice place but...

Very nice view, clean pool and generally hotel and facilities.

We had some issues early on with the bathroom and toilet and they stayed during the time. The staff was helpful to try to resolve it but it felt that they are more annoyed than helpful. Breakfast is quite poor, not good quality and not enough options. For us this wasn't important but many of the other guests were upset about it more. During the stay our kids were cold during the night and we asked for blankets. The owner was quite upset about it as we were also cooling down during the day with the air-conditioning. Normally greek people are very kind and nice but we didnt feel welcome as we are used to. A bit sad compared to the potential this place have.

Good hotel with great swimming pool and very close to the sea.

Excellent view on the sea and the bay from our room and the breakfast and dinner area. Breakfast was plentiful. Swimming pool was outstanding: large and with many sun-beds. Beautiful garden with flowers and fruit trees and places to sit. Quiet location and surroundings. Parking on site. Sea with beach is only 3 minutes walk. Kind owners of the hotel who made our stay memorable. Small super market in walking distance.

From the hotel you need a car go around the island. We made trips to several beaches and Corfu Town, approximately 15 to 30 minutes from the hotel.

This hotel was absolutely incredible away from tourists, untouched and beautiful beyond belief we loved our stay and didn't want to leave. The staff were super kind and helpful always, the breakfast included was amazing, views were unreal, pool and facilities lovely and the room also well air-conditioned. This place is more secluded with one taverna for the best local fresh Greek food otherwise away from everything so you'll need to hike or get a car.

Perfect place to stay and relax in Corfu.

The swimming pool was fantastic. It was an easy walk down to the beach and to a lovely taverna. Our room was clean, comfortable and had a great view of the beach from the balcony. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also varied and very good. We would highly recommend this hotel.

The shower was a bit dodgy and needs some work. Otherwise everything was perfect. We loved our stay.

Perfect spot if you're looking for a relaxing holiday. Beautiful hotel in a great location. Staff are all very nice and helpful. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Lovely big swimming pool.

Would have loved a little softer pillows, but this is a personal preference. Shower pressure not the best. A kettle in the room would have also been nice.

The worst stay of my life

The only thing which was nice was the view.

It was the worst stay we have ever had. I booked this hotel for my family to celebrate to be together again, but it was the shame. Swimming pool was dirty, restaurant was closed, dirty sheets at the arrival, broken things in all three rooms we had, ants in the bathroom etc. But worst of all was the impolite and aggressive owner and the policy of housekeeping. My pregnant sister and I witnessed only few hours after arrival how the owner beat the woman, which was crying and screaming for help in the hallway. He pulled her hair and locked her in the room downstairs. Police had to come. Besides that many hotel guests and I saw the owner killing wasps with his hands on the ham in the breakfast buffet. Disgusting!!! When it comes to housekeeping, when we asked to clean our rooms and change towels after 3 days, we found towels which were lying on the bathroom floor before hanging back in the bathroom "pretending" that it is new towels. I have never ever experienced something like this before. Not worth the money. Overpriced for the service you get. I will never ever come back here again and I do not recommend it. Later on we have heard that Ermones beach which is the closest beach to hotel (200 m downhill) is infamously known as the beach where the most people drowned in Corfu due to strong currents. Book Hotel Elena only if you want to experience the worst travel nightmare.

Very enjoyable stay. If we ever return to Corfu, this hotel will be our first option.

The place is unique. the hotel is situated on the center of the Ermones gulf and so the view was stunning. It is very quite and you can only listen to the sea. Breakfast-buffet has the necessary variety, so you are not confused on what you want to eat. The room was very clean. Enough parking space for many cars. Beach is 7-8 mins on foot from the hotel. Very polite staff and owners.

Lovely view from our room, friendly family-run hotel, large clean pool, and great breakfast on the terrace overlooking the bay. The hotel has lovely gardens and a layout for a tranquil relaxing stay.

The pool bar and restaurant were currently closed due to staffing problems which was a real shame as that would have made it a perfect place to stay - hopefully, this will open again soon though.

Pleasant

Hotel with an amazing view! We spend every evening on the balcony enjoying the sunset. Nice, big swimming pool. Repeated but good breakfast. Very polite and helpful staff.

The biggest issue for us was the noise. The room's door is quite old fashioned and doesn't keep the noise from the corridor. We were feeling that we actually lived on the corridor. Same problem with the windows, in the evening you can hear people from the hotel restaurant. Room was very small and not very clean when we arrived (improved after first cleaning). Poor bulbs, very dark room.

Very disapointed.

View from the hotel and the pool are great.

We were met with a sign when we arrived informing us that 'due to staff shortages' the hotel restaurant hasn't been open since mid-July. If you don't have your own transport this leaves one restaurant within walking distance at which the food is not the best, and especially not for every meal for a week. We also didn't find the owner and all of the staff at all friendly. Rather they were generally grumpy, and since the main reason we booked was because of the reviews stating 'great food at friendly family restaurant' - we are very disappointed. Other points: Rooms are bit outdated but OK and breakfast is basic.

This Wonderful Pink hotel has the best location and the best view !!! The beach and Scenic rocks by the hotel are Gorgeous!! For the best sea & swimming experience walk left from the main beach and the pristine, crystal water will be there for your enjoyment and forever memories! We drove all the island Corfu and this hotel has the best beaches around! Book the boat and go exploring them all! The owners and their team at the hotel are very nice, helpful and accommodated all our requests! Very clean hotel with Beautiful Flowers and Truly Best Central Sea View!

Nice surprise - Great views

The view from the hotel is amazing. I was shocked at how beautiful the sunset is in this little cove and visible from your room if you happen to have a sea view. The room was spacious, beds clean and decor was simple. Staff were very friendly. It has a pool and tennis court and ample parking

Very good

The view is priceless and the best from most other establishments in the same location. Breakfast on the terrace is nice. The rooms are also nice and very summery. It is only 20 minutes away from Corfu Town by car and there are nice beaches nearby and not only Ermones.

Breakfast could be better organized. There can be long queues and asking for more seems inappropriate. I understand that their method is more economical and there is less waste, which is a very good thing indeed, but perhaps they should revisit it and do a sort of a la carte or set breakfast.

Good quiet location. Very clean rooms, baths and surroundings. The desk staff was welcoming, accommodating and provided useful information about the area and the island of Corfu. Clean pool.

The inability to have coffee, just coffee, earlier than 8 am. It seems to me that there was inventory control on breakfast goods and mostly coffee. After my first cup I had to wait in line to be served the second cup. I wish that personnel matters should have been out of the eyes and ears of guests.

Relaxing stay in a very friendly hotel in a beautiful quiet location

Pool was superb so big and plenty of shade. Staff very friendly and helpful atmosphere was good and had many chats with hosts and fellow guests. Restaurant food was nice and varied and view was great

Rooms were a little on the small side and the beds were a bit creaky
