Lovely & very helpful hosts, great location with huge history & charm

Quiet rural location away from busy coastal areas but a quick drive to many beaches - just what we wanted

17th century villa in surrounded by nature. Completely quiet and complete darkness in the night time with stsrry skies. Alex is a great guy, so as Dimitrios

Great stay in the north of Corfu.

Great stay in the middle of corfu. Alex was a good host and gave us some tips for where to go. The villa was lovely and we especially enjoyed being next to the pool. It was an ideal location to visit all the local beaches as was as north and south Corfu.

Must come here if you visit Corfu

The hotel setting was exceptional. We were truly disconnected from everyday life. The entire staff is extremely pleasant, there is a real family atmosphere. Everyone is very accommodating and does their best to ensure you have the best possible stay in Corfu. I will come back without hesitation.

Serene location

This location is absolutely breathtaking, set high up overlooking stunning landscape views to the East and West. The main building was previously used for olive producing in previous generations and still retains some of its history, including a large olive press in the main reception. The host, Alex, was very welcoming and helpful with suggestions of places to visit. Chilled drinks and wine are available in reception, which you can help yourself to anytime with honesty policy. The self-contained room was adequate but very quaint and cosy, with a private outdoor seating area and yards away from the pool with amazing views. We even had a private parking space away from the main reception. Plenty of grounds to explore containing olive, orange, lemon, and plum trees, with a lovely spot to watch the sunset. It could do with some modernisation but would be a lovely venue for a small wedding.

It's always a nice touch to have at least a bottle of chilled water in the fridge and cleaning products for the kitchen.

Great location, central to everything, Alex super friendly and helpful.

Amazing setting. Rooms clean, an excellent pool area. Alex could not have been more helpful. For a place to relax and unwind we thought it a great choice. We loved that it’s close to everything. A car necessary, and we found it a bit tricky finding the property in the dark as Google maps doesn’t take you to the front door.

Lovely traditional place to get away from it all and relax

We loved the history of the building and the setting, quiet, unassuming and timeless, yet with good access to the local area, including Liapades and Paleokastritsa, and wider to Corfu Town. Room was very comfortable with kitchen area, balcony with great views over the valley and modernised in keeping with the building. Grounds and pool were lovely. Spyros was very helpful and friendly, assisting with any queries. Would love to come again.

Our room had a hob but no microwave or oven, so although this was fine for us as didn’t cook, may not suit others.

Exceptional

We had a wonderful time at Fundana Villas located in a quiet area between olive and fruit groves with an amazing mountain view. The calm atmosphere in the nature as well as the owner`s warm hospitality and service helped us relaxing. Btw: Spyros is a great cook and full of historic knowledge. Moreover, it is a perfect spot if you are interested in exploring the island. We will definteley return and recommend it to family and friends. Thanks a lot!

Exceptional

The Hotel is a cozy a unique please to speed a holiday. Every room has a good view over the mountains in Corfu and Albania in the horizon. The owner is a really caring man who gives good recommendations for the nice beaches all around Corfu. Even the breakfast, dinner and pool is nice.

jolie île, trop de monde même début octobre

Fundana Villas est un excellent choix. Située au milieu de la campagne, vue magnifique, piscine superbe dont nous n'avons malheureusement pas pu profiter à cause du temps très moyen, mais aussi près des plus belles plages et à une demie heure de la ville (Kerkyra) quand il n'y a pas de circulation. Alex est adorable, très à l'écoute et soucieux de ses clients et en vrai Corfiote il partage volontiers tous les bons conseils et les bonnes adresses. Nous recommandons aussi Taverna Elisabeth à Doukades (20 minutes en voiture) attention réservation indispensable.

Genau, was wir uns erhofft hatten

Sehr schöne Lage, herrliche Sonnenaufgänge, Immer freundliches Personal mit guten Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants. Toller, sauberer Pool. Hier kann man sich erholen.

Die Küchenausttattung ist befriedigend. Das Früstücksbuffett und der Kaffee haben Potential nach oben.

Nice summer in Fundana Villas

- L’emplacement (à la fois proche des points d’intérêts et à l'écart des nuisances) - les conseils d’Alex et le côté familial - le cadre et la vue - l’authenticité du lieu

- le logement avait le stricte nécessaire pour la cuisîne (quelques produits de base et ustensiles en plus serait un plus), - la décoration/meubles sont un peu "rustiques" (mais cela n’a pas été un souci pour moi)

Tranquillità e natura

Appartamento completamente in mezzo al verde con una piscina bellissima con vista sulle colline. Host molto disponibile a fornire suggerimenti e consigli su cosa visitare. Viene messo a disposizione anche un ombrellone per la spiaggia. Nell'appartamento vengono forniti asciugamani e all'interno della cucina si trovano posate, piatti, bicchieri e qualche pentola. Assolutamente consigliato, se si cerca un posto tranquillo e lontano dalla città.

Bisogna stare molto attenti alla strada, in quanto google maps consiglia una strada per il monastero, che non è percorribile in auto

Séjour idyllique dans un cadre hors du temps

Les Fundana Villas sont un lieu de vacances exceptionnel. Tout d'abord, le bâtiment est magnifique. Ancien moulin à huile, rénové en diverses chambres et dépendances surplombant une piscine de belles dimensions. Des films y ont été tournés, on y ressent une authenticité très agréable. Notre chambre était très agréable, avec un lit de belles dimensions. La possibilité de prendre le petit déjeuner est proposée, mais tout le matériel est à disposition dans les kitchenettes des chambres pour manger chez soi si l'envie vous prend. Alex, le propriétaire, et sa famille sont charmants et aux petits soins. Une fois par semaine, la maman d'Alex prépare un repas délicieux pour les vacanciers qui le souhaitent. Le repas est pris sur la terrasse longeant le bâtiment et surplombant la vallée superbe. Ambiance hors du temps assurée. L'endroit accueille des familles et des adultes calmes. Les jeunes en recherche d'animations préféreront les hôtels côtiers. La situation dans l île est parfaite : poche de.villages charmants (Gardales - Doukades) et de villages de bords de mer (Paleokastritsa et d autres) tout en étant à 25min de l aéroport de Corfou. Au bord de la piscine, possibilité de petite restauration rapide et petit verre toute la journée. Bref, séjour enchanteur, cadre enchanteur, personnel adorable!

Une petite suggestion pour les années à venir, dans les chambres donnant plein soleil, prévoir une petite structure supplémentaire pour créer de l'ombre de grand matin, le soleil était si fort qu'il était difficile de rester devant notre chambre pour manger. Cela étant, le domaine regorge de petits recoins où s installer à l ombre, donc cela n a pas été un grand problème !

Véritable havre de paix

C'est un véritable havre de paix, une ancienne fabrique d'huile d'olive reconvertie en chambre d'hôte, la piscine est un vrai plus. Alex a été de très bons conseils pendant tout le séjour. Nous avons adoré !

Relaxed en alle benodigdheden binnen handbereik

Prachtige locatie. Knus, authentiek, rustig en gezellig. Een mooi zwembad. Perfect voor gezinnen. Onze 4-jarige zoon heeft zich zeer goed vermaakt. Fijn dat de bedden dagelijks netjes zijn opgemaakt.

Het keukengerei mocht wel iets uitgebreider en vernieuwd worden. Daarnaast misten we wat schoonmaakspullen, bijvoorbeeld voor de wc of een stofzuiger.

Einzigartige Unterkunft mit Charakter und Charme!

Die Unterkunft liegt super einzigartig und idyllisch auf einer Hügelkette. Der Ausblick ist wunderschön! Die tollen Buchten in der Nähe sind super easy in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto/Roller zu erreichen. Alex, der Besitzer, ist super sympathisch, gibt lokale Tipps für authentisches Essen und ist sehr zuvorkommend. Per WhatsApp hat er uns ganz unkompliziert ein Motorboot für einen Tag organisiert. Super Service!

Het is genieten bij alexandros

De locatie was prachtig, het uitzicht is schitterend, echt een plaatje. Een toplocatie! De gastheer is heel vriendelijk, geeft je goede informatie, niet alleen over je verblijf, maar ook over de omgeving. Het huisje is gezellig en sfeervol. We komen zeker nog een keer terug.
