Ideal comfortable stop on the Walsingham Way

Good selection of real ales. Varied evening menu. Breakfast menu had loads of choice.

Granary or sourdough toast would be nice at breakfast, plus some marmalades and jams.

Apart from the leaking towel rail, we were impressed with the standards and meal quality.

Wrer not informed that the towel rail in the bathroom had a leak and a bucket to catch the water. My husband had to empty it twice to save it overflowing. We did mention it on leaving and staff syated that they would look at it.

Delightful gem in the heart of Ringland

Very clean and fresh room, bed was very comfortable, and roomie.

A very personal opinion but the room was very hot (which I understand for winter) however was a tad much for me and my husband.

Wonderful pub - we love it!

This charming, snug little pub provides a great variety of wines and beers. The food is tasty with a diverse menu. The staff are friendly and efficient, and the rooms are cozy, beautifully decorated with all the essentials you might need.

Our only minor criticism is that while this is mainly a food pub, it would benefit from having more than just one cozy sofa for guests staying overnight to unwind. If this sofa is taken, there aren't any other comfortable spots to sit. Other than that, we have no complaints whatsoever!

The Parson Woodforde is a cozy, rustic place where you can lay your head and get some great food.

The Parson Woodforde is a charming bed and breakfast not too far off from the heart of Norwich. It has a very cozy vibe and the free breakfast was phenomenal. The location advertises an English breakfast, but there are other options available as well; so, if staying for several days, you do not have to eat the same thing each morning. Additionally, the pub/restaurant upon which the rooms are atop of had a spectacular menu. Even if you are not able to stay in one of the rooms, it may be worth your while to come out just for the food. The room itself had a TV (which I didn't really use), access to free WiFi, and complimentary coffee/tea-making appurtenances. There was service each day to provide a restock on items as well (water bottles, toilet paper, etc.). The location is slightly off the beaten path, so you won't have to worry about too much traffic. The staff, both for the rooms and the restaurant, were very friendly as well.

This didn't bother me (because I knew what I was getting into), but some may consider the rooms a bit small. If the size of your room is a concern, then you should keep this in mind. Additionally, it is not exactly walking distance from anything; so, you will likely need to drive to any location you wish to check out. Otherwise, it was a pleasure to stay at The Parson Woodforde.

An amazing place

I can't praise this beautiful place enough. The building is old, with lots of character and atmosphere. The room we stayed in was cosy and warm. The bed was comfortable, the ensuite was a good size with a powerful shower. The food was very tasty and the portions a good size and not expensive. The staff were very helpful and friendly and always there to answer any questions we had.

There wasn't a thing we didn't like. The place is amazing.

A lovely place in which to spend a few days in Norfolk.

Lovely comfortable room with king size bed very modern and clean. Good location. Great on site restaurant. All staff very friendly and accommodating.

We had lunch, dinner and breakfast. Dinner was excellent with delicious main courses and amazingly good ice cream. Lunch was satisfactory. The staff were not expecting us for breakfast for some reason but soon laid a table and brought us tea and coffee. There was no cereal etc on display and we were not offered any. We therefore chose from the cooked breakfast menu which included vegetarian and vegan options.

It was a very hot day, I couldn't open the sky light windows, and despite asking staff twice to come up and help/show me, no one came. I had to reply on a small electric fan to cool the room which was inadequate.
