Close to the city center, free parking on the street on weekdays from 6 pm and all day on weekends.

We met a very grumpy and harsh woman at the reception when we arrived: no kind words, no helpfulness at all from her side, only humiliating education. We asked questions with fear because the answer was so harsh. The room itself is very small. The bathroom has a sliding door, so when you close it, there is still a 5 cm wide hole, so if you sit on the bed you can still see the toilet, even if the sliding door is closed. This is suitable only for very intimate roommates! There was a sewer smell all around the whole house, that you could feel inside the room, as well - no matter how many times or for how long you opened the window. I couldn't see towels when the woman showed the room to us, so I asked - the answer was: "2". Since we didn't find the towels after she left us, we went back to the reception and asked again - the answer was: "You should have asked it in the room". And when we received we realized a huge bunch of hair inside... The bedclothes didn't seem clean, and had much long dark hairs on it (although none of us has this type of hair). Some of the furniture was also dirty. The "kitchen" is very poorly equipped: only 2-2 plates, forks, spoons, knives and glasses, nothing else. The small fridge is too loud. The only shelf inside was full of water. It was not possible to remove it to pour out the water, due to the very tight place where it is built in, so you couldn't use it at all, because everything got wet on the shelf. Suitable only for storing bottled drinks.

Tiny room with nice swimming pool

parking right in front, room was clean, close to city center, easy to walk there, in the middle is a nice swimmingpool, relaxing area in garden, the stuff was friendly even if no English

upon arrival the person did not speak any other language than Hungarian, my room was super-tiny, the walls are thin as paper, you can hear you neighbours talking, and everything in the hall, only microwave and fridge, I expected cooking appliances as it is an apartmenthouse. 70€ per night was too much for that room even if it has a swimmingpool

Good little hotel experience with a slightly uncomfortable intro

Szeged is a nice little town, so the location was good. Beds were comfortable enough, the place had a small pool, a little car park, decent shower and toilet.

The host that greeted us came across quite rude. I guess that had a little to do with the time we arrived at the hotel which was past midnight but it would have been nice(r) if he was a little friendlier as we travelled from Switzerland to Szeged and was just really looking for a place to crash due to exhaustion and we didn't want to drive at night. He did not understand English at all which is not a problem as I can't expect everyone to understand but his whole demeanour was that of someone who owned a private house in town that was intruded upon by strangers rather than a commercial hotel owner/manager. The guy's whole attitude was hostile, and it was coming to a point where we were coming very close to telling him to do one and leave the place despite desperately needing a shower and decent night's rest. He was kind enough however to allow us to bring our car into the hotels gated car park, but my suspicion is that he by that point realised my patience was running thin with his shenanigans. On a brighter note, he was a completely different chap in the morning. Enjoying his dip in the pool :) He even waved at us and said goodbye as we were leaving!!

Unwelcoming night receptionist. He didn't like that I did the last minute booking on Booking.com. Hair & foot hair on the blanket. Thin walls - clearly heard neighbour's snoring and peeing.

Nagyon kicsi a parkolóhely. Az autónk karosszériájat megnyomta valaki , de nekünk senki nem szólt erről. A javíttatás százötvenezer forintba került.
