New technologies are a good thing. The question is, is it always?
Modern, modern apartments in a quiet area. Everything is brand new! Perfect cleanliness. Cozy bedroom, nice linen. The bathroom is quite nice. A large living room with a fully equipped kitchen and a huge TV. Nice terrace.
During registration (which often happens in Hungary and causes problems), we were asked to download and install the app. At first, we didn't succeed. So we asked if we could just send photos of our documents. In response, we were rudely told that if we didn't like something, we could cancel the booking and refund the money! Seriously? Anyway, we figured it out.
When we arrived at the place, some of the information was sent to us through the app, and the other part was sent by e-mail. Modern, fashionable electronic combination locks were installed on the doors. We brought some of our belongings, then went out to pick up the rest (our phones were left inside), the front door (to the building) closed, and... we found ourselves in a complete dead end!
Fortunately, the upstairs neighbors (who were sitting on their balcony) helped us and gave us a code so we could return to the house.
Then everything became even more interesting. I went to the parking lot, and there, in the place indicated to me, a car was parked. I wrote to the owner of the hotel. Answer... SILENCE! What kind of person ignores messages from his guests?! There are 9 apartments in the house, but there are only 6 parking spaces in the courtyard! As a result, our car had to stay outside on the first night, and I didn't even know if the parking was free or not.
In the courtyard, our terrace was surrounded by cars, so it seemed like we were sitting in the parking lot, not on the veranda.
The apartment has a nice design, and even has a kitchen with lots of household appliances. But when we decided to cook something, we realized that we didn't even have a basic set of knives — they were simply forgotten about. How are you going to cut meat with table knives?
There is not a single shelf in the huge shower stall. Obviously, the designer also decided that guests could just put their toiletries on the floor.
