Unique experience. Perfect finish of our remarkable trip to Japan. The best way to come close to real life in Tokyo. Wonderful staff made the stay even beter.

The staff went above and beyond to help me out with some pretty significant travel difficulties I was having (the difficulties were unrelated to the lodging.) Also, the room, while sparse, was very roomy and included a lot of little things that helped make my stay comfortable, like a little spray bottle for keeping your clothes from smelling! The bed was quite comfortable. The included breakfasts were also perfect. I sadly didn't get to take advantage of the onsen passes they include but I will make sure to do so next time.
The only note is that the walls are not very sound-proof; you'll hear other guests from time to time, but it was not a big deal.

We had a wonderful stay at Hanare. The team was incredibly kind and welcoming, and their help made our trip so much easier. We truly felt at home and would happily stay here again.
