Nightingale Cottage- 25115

Absolutely superb location. 2 minute drive to North Landing Beach carpark or 6-10 minutes walk (really, it is that close). High speed internet good enough for streaming video. Large living area with two large sofas, good TV (smart with apps and freeview channels), table and chairs for eating. Large dresser serves as the TV stand and drawers full of DVD's, books and board games. Good size kitchen with full size fridge, hob, oven, microwave, kettle and toaster. Good dishes and plenty of utensils, pots and pans etc. Great hot water supply. Downstairs bathroom good size with toilet, shower over bath. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a small but effective ensuite. The bedrooms are not large, bit of a squeeze at times to walk past the bed, but comfortable beds, wardrobe and dresser. Double bedroom has window with blackout blind, the smaller twin room has window and curtain with no black out lining. Parking is near the door, large easy to negotiate parking area, while there is no dedicated spot, there's plenty of room for one car per cottage at least. The cottages are terraced, so shared walls, but the walls are thick and we didn't hear the neighbours. The thick walls kept the cottage comfortably cool even when it was over 30 degrees Celsius outside, a real blessing in the heatwave. It is a farm, with farmland surrounding, but didn't hear any undue farm noise. Quiet at night.

Blackout linings on the windows that didn't already have it would be good. Other than that, nothing to suggest.

Location was great, quiet with a couple of good pubs offering food a short walk away.

Check out is 9am, but in the end we had to leave the evening before due to an unexpected medical appointment.

Fantastic setting close to North Landing. Great for dog walking and so handy for Flamborough. Plenty of options to eat out nearby. There is a bus to Brid stops nearby, from there you can get almost anywhere by train or bus so you don’t even need to drive if you don’t want to.
