Villa Camp Redo

Pictures didn’t do this wonderful home justice. The location and the property are beautiful, rustic and charming it felt like staying in a traditional Mallorcan family finca. The decor, paintings, furniture etc were lovely. The home itself is much bigger than it looked from photos and the bedrooms are a great size, two with spectacular views of the mountains. 3 bathrooms - one with a new modern shower. All rooms fitted with fancy new Phillips ceiling fans which negates the need for aircon. Appreciated that the windows all had mosquito nets so you could leave them open all night. The garden/pool is great, nice sun trap with plenty of shady spots for hotter days. Plenty of furniture for bigger groups. Outdoor kitchen and grill were fantastic. Loved how easy it was to walk into town (10 mins, no hill climb as you wander in and come out at the bottom of the famous steps in Pollenca centre). Plenty of space to park the car. Well equipped kitchen. Overall great stay, would love to come back.

There were some essentials (such as washing up liquid, sponges, tea towels, loo roll etc) but no oil, salt, pepper - store cupboard items - not a deal breaker but worth knowing if you plan to go to a supermarket before arrival

The villa was well equipped and private. The location was perfect for us, fabulous mountain views, easy to walk into Pollenca old town. We also hired a car.

We visited end July 2022 and apparently the weather was particularly hot - hitting 40 degrees some days. We would have liked a fan downstairs (as there is no air conditioning or ceiling fans). All bedrooms had fans which was very much needed (the main bedroom was particularly hot at night). Take insect repellent!
