Dar Daoud 52- Riad Daoud 91

I enjoyed my stay at Dar Daoud - the room itsself was very clean, light, very tastefully decorated (with original artworks by the riad owner I beleive). The communal spaces were nice and bright and comfortable as well. I liked the decor of the riad - it felt like a lovely homely and relaxing place to return to. Breakfast was very tasty too, and the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Great location amongst the souks - nice and convenient for exploring, and not too far from the main square (around 5-10 minuutes walk). I would stay here again :)

I did enjoy relaxing on the rooftop, but I think this space would benefit from a little more care and attention to bring it up to meet the standard of the rest of the riad. On the first day I found it a little hard to find - but I messaged the manager and he responded immediately and came to greet me (it's the small blue door, I just missed the sign!). But overall a great place to stay in Marakech!!

Our room and the bathroom were sparkling clean. Very comfortable. We were very happy that the room was air-conditioned in the 107-degree heat. Mohammad was our host, and he was excellent. Offered us mint tea and a confection on our arrival. He was polite and very attentive. He showed us to the breakfast area and answered all our questions. We asked for a dinner recommendation, and his suggestion was excellent. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff was very helpful and courteous.

It was a very nice Riad, and I can not think of anything that I would change.

Badou & the staff were fantastic, making me feel very welcome & at home Excellent breakfast.....fresh & delicious Loved the location, hidden in the medina but handy to everywhere

I was not travelling at a luxury level, so the riad was a traditional one & my room was small....however it was value for money & good for a single person.

Bader is the heart and soul of the riad. What a kind and helpful person he is. He gave us valuable tips for our stay in Marrakech. The lovely lady who prepared the delicious breakfast, and the smiley gentleman at the riad in the evenings were also very professional and friendly. Itri, the tortoise was very friendly as well. The riad felt cosy. The bedroom had character, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The air-conditioning was pivotal for the summer heat. The place is located just a short walk from the main sites. I am glad I stayed there. I hope I will be back soon. Thank you very much!

Nothing, really. I would definitely stay there again.
