Riad Lyla

The host, Ayoub (not sure how to spell it, my apologies), was amazing. So friendly, and was there to answer questions or arrange for anything we needed. Always smiling and a pleasure to have met him. Thank you, sir. We completely enjoyed our visit, only made better by you and your staff.

Good location if you want to be close to the markets in the centre of Marrakesh. Staff was nice. Our room was cute, typical Arabic vibe, the hotel's terrace has views of the city, as all rooftops around.

Breakfast is quite basic, we were hoping the food to be a bit better. It's not bad, but not great either. I asked for non-diary milk, which fair enough they didn't have, but the staff said they'll get some for next morning, which they didn't. Some ants in the bathroom, it didn't bothered us much... but something to look at for the hotel managers.

Very nice and comfortable. The atmosphere was lovely—quiet and peaceful, with lots of trees and flowers in the patio. Our room was a perfect size and was situated on the ground floor. Every morning around six o’clock, lots of birds visited the patio, so we would open the door and listen to them singing. The staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast had two outstanding highlights: the freshly squeezed orange juice and the coffee. The location is excellent. Just a couple of steps in one direction and you are in the Souk; a couple of steps in the other direction and you are outside the Medina. We visited several attractions, including Jardin Majorelle, and did everything on foot. There are also some nice restaurants nearby offering tasty traditional Moroccan dishes, and in some of them you can even order beer or wine if you like.
