Riad Il Parco dei Principi

We stayed at Riad Il Parco dei Principi as a couple with our child and booked the Yves room. We had a very pleasant three-night stay and found the riad beautiful, charming and fantastically located, just a short walk from the souks and the famous Jemaa el-Fna square. The location is excellent, although it is worth knowing that the riad is situated in a small alley where cars and taxis cannot enter. The taxi will drop you off nearby, so if you have a lot of luggage, you will need to walk a short distance through the narrow alleyways with your bags. The swimming pool was a lovely place to cool down after exploring Marrakech in the heat. We also really liked the atmosphere of our room. The beautiful Moroccan lamps create a very cosy and authentic atmosphere. However, they provide more ambient light than practical lighting. If you want to read in the evening, it would be useful to have a small flashlight with you. Unfortunately, one of the curtains in our room was broken and could no longer be pulled up, and this was not repaired during our stay. Another slightly strange detail was the wine fridge in the room. It looked useful, but unfortunately we could not actually use it to keep anything cold, as it was set to 30°C and we could not change it. The breakfast was a nice surprise: during our three-night stay, something different was served each morning, which made it feel varied and enjoyable. Overall, we had a very lovely stay at Riad Il Parco dei Principi. The beautiful riad, authentic atmosphere, excellent location and friendly setting made it a great base for exploring Marrakech.

The only things we found less convenient were a few details in the room. One of the curtains was broken and could not be pulled up, and unfortunately it was not repaired during our stay. Also, the space between the double bed and the wall leading to the bathroom is extremely narrow. You can just about squeeze through, but it is quite uncomfortable, especially when moving around the room.

Very friendly and informative staff. And the breakfast was really good, where we appreciated the willingness to serve it extra early so we could eat ahead of going on a trip. The Riad is perfectly located in the Medina, both close to the souk and the outside walls. Also good with safety deposit box in the room.

Beautiful Riad in a a "quite" street right next to the bazar. The Riad was clean, the room was spacious with everything equipped that would be needed for our stay. The pool was clean as well as refreshing during a day to cool down and the setting around is was breathtaking, where we were able to enjoy our delicious breakfast every morning. The staff was very helpful and nice, could not hope for more!

We stayed at Riad Il Parco dei Principi for a girls' weekend with a group of 9, and it honestly exceeded every expectation we had. From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the riad made us feel instantly at home. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the Mouassine neighbourhood, just a 5-minute walk from Jemaa el-Fna, with the best souks literally on your doorstep. We couldn't have asked for a better base to explore the medina. But the real star of our stay was Mr. Yassine. Exceptional doesn't even begin to cover it. He was attentive, incredibly kind, and went out of his way to make sure every single one of us had everything we needed. From restaurant recommendations to organising our return transfer, nothing was ever too much trouble. He remembered our names, checked in on us throughout the stay, and always had a smile and a warm word. It's rare to encounter that level of genuine hospitality, the kind that makes a trip truly memorable. The riad itself is beautiful and full of character, and the whole team was lovely and welcoming throughout. If you're visiting Marrakech, especially with a group, this is the place to stay. We will absolutely be back. Thank you Mr. Yassine and the whole team for making our trip so special!
