Conveniently-located hotel at a fair price

For me, it was perfect that this hotel was just across from the train station, literally a 30-second walk. There was a coffee maker, water kettle, and microwave, as well as a sink and basic plates, cups, cutlery. Like a little apartment. There was TV with cable channels. Rooms are just above a café, where you can have breakfast after 10am. WiFi worked fine. The price was more reasonable than other properties in town.

The rooms could really do with a refresher. The radiator in the bedroom was hanging at an angle, there were some holes in the walls, the sofa cover wasn’t very aesthetic, and the bed mattresses were pretty soft. If the decor was spruced up, it could be charming.

Awesome visit to a very friendly Country, but let down by accommodation standards.

The location directly opposite the main train station entrance was perfect and made my arrival and departure at opposite ends of busy days so easy and hassle free.

The standard of accommodation was well below my usually selected accommodation type. It was very shabby, the bed was bloody awful. It was furnished with a whole mish mash of items and the decor and electrical fittings were damaged or seriously in need of attention.

Cute and convenient hotel near the station

The hotel is above a very cute café/pub and is right across from the train station - very convenient! The beds were comfy and the room was much bigger than expected.

Especially for couples, it would be nice if the single beds in the separate bedroom were pushed together, especially since there were two separate beds already in the living room area.

The staff was extremely kind and helpful: my flight was heavily delayed, and when I contacted the hotel to ask how I could get the keys, they immediately found a solution and made sure everything was ready for me upon arrival, despite the late hour. Truly excellent hospitality. If I return to the area, I will definitely stay here again!

City trip

Perfect location near public transport. Very spacious room (it even had a kitchenette). Clean. Very friendly staff. Nice detail of a laundry basket in the bathroom. I would book again.

For people who care about it... It is an older building and needs some tlc. You can see people are doing their best but there are small issues.

Pleasant stay at a well managed hotel offering a good location and breakfast.

The hotel’s location is very good being next to the railway station and 10-15 minutes walk to the centre of the town. The room was clean and comfortable with a side lounge and kitchen area. All appliances worked. There was no noise despite being above a bar/restaurant and facing a street. The breakfast was very good and offered cooked options. The hotel staff were very friendly and as we arrived just after 11.00am kept our luggage safe while we explored the town.

Great stay. Internet connection and speed is great. Personnel is very kind. Room is just ok.

Location is really nice, just across the train station. Beds were really comfy and they have a single couch that was really comfortable. It's a silent room ideal for work. Internet connection was pretty great.

Heater was not working (I've heard this usually happens in the place, but you can make an inquiry to change your room or get it fix, and they will). Kitchen has really little cluttery (just one knife). Bathroom sink was pretty small and you have no room to leave your basic hygiene elements. Power outlets were dispossed in a uncomfy way. Check-out was really confusing since I checked-out at 8:00 and no one was there to receive the keys, so I left them in the room.

* Very quiet, this despite it being a Saturday evening and the hotel being above a restaurant/bar and across the road from the train station * Comfortable bed

* Shower temp was difficult to control - went up and down a bit * Bathroom is long and skinny with the washbasin on the long side. This makes it difficult when brushing your teeth

Location: LITERALLY cross the street from the train station ! and it´s 10 min walk from the market/center ! Room/cleaness: Really amazing for a 2 star hotel ! in the room everything is provided "from water boiler and free tea and coffee,mini fridge, heater, toilet paper, soap and shampoo etc", and the staff are more than happy to help you !

Vergane glorie

De ontvangst door het personeel was allerhartelijkst. We kwamen aan op Tweede Kerstdag en het personeel was super gastvrij en legde ons uit hoe alles werkte. Eerst betalen en toen voor naar onze kamer. Bedden prima en schoon, centrale locatie tegenover het station is perfect. Nespresso koffieapparaat op de kamer met cupjes en theezakjes. Klein keukentje met koelkast voor wie dat nodig heeft. Geen ontbijt genomen

De kamer. Voor de prijs die we hebben betaald echt niet voldoende. De vloer veerde en kraakte onder onze voeten. De kast op onze kamer was scheef en wiebelde als je langs liep mee met de vloer. Bovenop de kast (op mijn ooghoogte) dikke laag stof en (gebruikte?) wattenstaafjes. Gordijnen hangen uit de rails en sluiten niet, in de winter niet zo'n probleem wellicht, maar in de zomer lig je dus vol in het licht. Nachtlampje op nachtkastje tussen de bedden, maar wil je het in het stopcontact doen dan ligt één persoon op het snoer, het stopcontact zit halverwege het bed. Vochtplekken op het systeemplafond, de radiator bij het derde bed hangt nog met één klem aan de muur en in de badkamer zitten overal schroefgaten van eerder gemonteerde spiegels of zeephouders. De lichtschakelaar zit vol met opgehoopt vuil en er zitten barsten in de tegels op de vloer. Een keukentafeltje met twee verschillende stoeltjes die eruit zien alsof ze bij elkaar geraapt zijn bij het grofvuil en loszittend behang. Scheuren in de muren etcetera. We herkennen ons helaas niet in de positieve ervaringen in andere recensies, behalve dan het personeel dat allervriendelijkst is. Kamer is vergane glorie en voldoet helaas niet aan de kwaliteit die de prijs doet vermoeden.
