Bed great, breakfast not so much.

The room was very nice.

Breakfast was poor. We handed back the coffee and asked for tea. It was dreadful. It seems like the same pots are used for both. There was a walk in menu which offered Americanos etc. I can't see why this wouldn't be given to guests.

Excellent traditional Hotel, with good facilities

The staff were incredibly helpful, and very chatty. Pointed us to local shops and the cooked breakfast was excellent, car parking was also very good, parked directly outside, but the car park beside the hotel had plenty of spaces. The room was very comfortable. Had a drink in the bar later, which was good.

The room was far from reception and up a flight of stairs, with no lift. the restaurant closed at 8pm, which was early. Not major issues.

Don’t go there!

The staff

Everything. Reprobates and smokers at the door. Barbed wire on the fences around the parking lot. Ancient and not updated. No elevators, no AC and one of the rooms smelled of sewage. It was awful!!!! There were drinks all night outside the window and it was stifling hot. The staff tried to do their best but it wasn’t enough. We endured one night and left. Booking.com or any other third party seller should never use this hotel. The reviews are false and it was truly an awful experience aside form the comp drinks while they tried to reduce the smell in the room.

All Staff where amazing. Very helpful. Big bed. Bar was great too. Food there was super and so was the breakfast. Mini fridge was great as I ask for it . My room was overlooking the road. No noise at all. Free car park also is great

Welcoming comfort

A very well appointed hotel with good public areas and a restaurant with a solid nourishing menu. The whole has been refurbished to a high standard of comfort and the bedrooms and beds were excellent. The greatest asset though is the staff: warm, welcoming and helpful. There was some confusion about a twin bedded room (almost certainly my mistake) and they went out of their way to resolve the problem cheerfully. It was a great first introduction to Northern Ireland. Generous portions in the dining room too. It's not surprising it us highly regarded locally

Really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were lovely and very helpful from the reception through to food and beverage staff. Breakfast was excellent, well cooked, and was served piping hot 🔥 which I love.

Overall food was good however we found the eggs at breakfast could have been cooked better e.g. I had poached eggs and on both occasions they were very overcooked, not much fruit selection left not sure if this was because we had breakfast at 10 O clock.....?

Room was a bit noisy as it was at top of stairs and u could hear alot of music, I do realise the weekend that was in it and that it does say on website that there is a nightclub. Net curtains were falling down on window and the room was a bit cold.
