Location, cleanliness but most of all hospitality of the people running this hotel, they were amazing and helped me a lot with everything I needed help with even without asking.

Our stay was perfect.

The accommodation was exceptionally clean. The hosts were very inviting and friendly. We felt very relaxed. The hosts even went out of their way to drive us to collect our car from the wedding venue we had been at the day before.

Stunning immaculate guest house only a short walk from town centre

Owners were very helpful and welcoming. The room was spotless and beautifully prepared with everything you could need. Included breakfast was excellent and the menu was very extensive. Parking at rear for our motorcycle was perfect. Only a short walk into the town centre with it's shops, bars and restaurants

Friendly comfortable B&B guesthouse with 3/4 rooms. Private parking, guest lounge. Very good breakfast esp full Irish fry up. Also superb vegetable omelette. Very comfy beds in large room. Plain laminate floors and minimal extra decor. Definitely guest house rather than home stay B&B. Great location for visiting Sperrin Mountains area.

No carpet in bedrooms or rug next to bed.plugs in awkward places.

Great place to stay when visiting Magherafelt!

The breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of foods on offer. The hosts were always available and more than happy to help us when we had any questions. Rooms were regularly checked on and refreshments were restocked whilst we were out every time. We absolutely would stay at BLGH again!

We had a nice time in Magherafelt, short 12 minute walk into town.

We have stayed in many guest houses, and this was by far the best. Martina and Eamon were very gracious hosts. Eamon helped us with our luggage. The room was large and nicely decorated. There were freshly baked cakes left in our room every day. Breakfast was made to order - we just filled out a little card the day before. There was free parking in the back.

Everything was spot on, better than expected. Easy to find, close to everything, safe parking, warm welcome...The smell of food was absolutely divine, unfortunately I didn't have a chance to eat, but I have no doubt it would be delicious. Spotless room with a little sweet treat waiting for me.

Absolutely fabulous.

Breakfast was exceptional here, great choice and all well cooked and so tasty. Martina and Eamon were so welcoming and friendly, room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, there was even a little homemade bun for us in the room with the tea and coffee facilities which was so lovely. Cannot recommend this place enough.

A really lovely place to stay, felt very well looked after.

Just a really lovely place. Martina was so friendly and welcoming. There was a lovely little home made bun (cupcake) in my room, such a lovely touch. Unfortunately I could not eat the fabulous looking breakfast, I was training at the time for a physique photoshoot so had to have my own food. This was absolutely no problem for Martina. I feel I need to go back to experience the gorgeous breakfast. Very comfortable room. Would highly recommend this guesthouse.

Brooke Lodge was spotlessly clean, spacious, well appointed and extremely comfortable. Very friendly welcome received from Martina and Eamon on arrival. Evening traybake was very tasty and a nice touch. Breakfast simply superb. Highly recommended. You’ll be really well looked after here.

Great breakfast - cooked or continental - and a short walk into Magherafelt centre where there are restaurants and bars. Short drive to Belaghy and Seamus Heaney HomePlace as well as near Lough Neagh and Lough Beg. Our hosts' attention to detail both in the accommodation and in the breakfast room make for a really enjoyable stay. Spacious room and lovely en suite.

Convenient and very nice staff

The staff were very welcoming and service minded. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was excellent. Convenient to have a free car park and just a short walk to the centre.

In the description of this room it says that there is “a private entrance”, “soundproof walls”, “garden views”. We had no garden views, no private entrance and the soundproof walls weren’t very soundproof.
