the bungalow was noisy, maybe there were animals in the false ceiling. This kept me awake.

The beach was not fully accessible

The location was great and the staff were really helpful and charming at first. There was a nice vibe to the dinner barbecue and after dinner football etc on beach. The Malay food was good.

We asked for final bill and paid it and left a tip. We sat waiting for the ferry for an hour. As soon as it was announced the owner said we hadn’t paid our bill. There was no time to check it and so I paid. It left a bad taste. Especially as on two occasions we were wrongly billed for others’ lunches! We settled up each evening and morning. The photo is not accurate. There’s netting and a derelict property next door. It’s run down. The common areas are shabby. No cushions on the homemade sun loungers. Other properties here have plants and garden areas with hammocks etc
