We stayed at this property following an unexpected cancellation of our original Agoda booking on 1 May. Due to limited availability during the holiday period, we rebooked this hotel at approximately ***+ per night for 3 nights, totaling over ***. Based on the online presentation, photos, pricing level, and use of the term “resort,” we expected a hospitality standard aligned with a premium beachfront resort experience. Upon arrival, our experience was materially different from those expectations. At the entrance area, we did not find what we would normally associate with a traditional hotel reception or lobby area. Seating consisted mainly of plastic chairs, and there was no visible formal check-in counter at the time of arrival. When we asked about the resort facilities and restaurant areas, we were directed to a small food stall-style setup. Parts of the property also appeared to be under construction during our visit. Based on what we personally observed, we did not feel comfortable continuing the stay, particularly considering accessibility and safety concerns for children, elderly guests, or guests with mobility limitations. During our visit, we also briefly saw the kitchen area. Based on our personal observations, we believe a formal health and hygiene inspection by the relevant local authorities would be appropriate. In our opinion, the Ministry of Tourism and local enforcement authorities may also wish to review whether the property meets the standards expected for accommodation marketed at this pricing and category level. As a result, we decided not to check in and requested an amicable solution. We proposed a 50% refund as a compromise, considering we did not occupy the room or use the facilities. This request was declined by both the property management and Agoda. Communication with management remained formal throughout the discussion, and the disagreement escalated to the point where police involvement was mentioned during the exchange. To avoid further conflict and disruption to our holiday, we decided to leave the property. This review reflects only our personal experience on the date of visit. We strongly encourage future guests to carefully review recent photos, construction status, accessibility conditions, and cancellation policies before booking.

When we arrived there was no one at the reception. Plenty of garbage around the entrance and all over the place. The room was not equipped with washroom and the bedding is dirty. No space to even walk inside the room. The bathroom was at the end of the hallway and without a lock. Was dirty and messy. We have to move to another hotel even though we didn’t have a refund. This place should be shut down

Difficult to say if the "hotel" is in demolition or construction. Be aware, it's a scam, that's why they so much insist on "NO REFUND POLICY". Paid *** for 6 nights... preferred to loose money and change hotel after 1 night. AC doesn't go less than 28c, Electricity not more than 6hrs/day, staff doesn't speak english.. AVOID AT ANY COST. Many other options when you arrive on site (even if not on website). Choose Flora Bay (next door), or Fauna Chalet (second next): A LOT BETTER, 30% of the price.
