OceanBoys Chalet Coral Bay

La ubicación es perfecta, puedes caminar 3min a Coral Bay y 7-8min a Long Beach y así tener muchísima oferta de restaurantes. Además los taxi boat también cambian de precio segun donde vayas y de cual de esas dos playas salgas. El alojamiento es muy cómodo, tiene un grifo para limpiarte los pies antes de entrar, tiene tendedero, aire acondicionado…

El primer día nos costó encontrar el alojamiento porque no nos habían dado instrucciones, pero luego el personal allí fue súper amable durante la estancia

This is not a luxury resort, but that is also part of the charm — it is simple, relaxed, island-style accommodation with a beautiful location and a very warm feeling. We stayed in one of the small bungalows, number 2, which was perfect because it was close enough to everything but still peaceful. The bungalow was basic, but it had what we needed, the most important AC! And comfortable bed and nice terace. We quickly got used to the island rhythm: coffee on the terrace in the morning, beach days, snorkeling, jungle walks and quiet evenings. The staff were kind, helpful and easygoing. One small detail we really appreciated was that we could get hot water from the restaurant for our own coffee in the mornings. It sounds simple, but when you are on an island, those little things matter. We also ordered extra roti canai to bring with us for a beach day, which was perfect. The location is excellent if you want to explore both Coral Bay and Long beach . Coral Bay is quieter than Long Beach, which suited us very well. We also ate several meals at Ocean Boys and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. The grilled seafood was a highlight — especially after long days in the sun and sea. It was a good place to come back to after snorkeling, swimming and exploring. A few things to know before booking: this is simple island accommodation, not a polished hotel. Expect a rustic stay, mosquitoes, sand everywhere, and the usual small inconveniences that come with island life. But if you come with the right expectations, Ocean Boys has a lot of charm. La ubicación, esta lejos de long beach ya que coral beach es mucho más tranquilo y apenas hay restaurantes. El grifo de lavamanos no tenía agua. La ducha sale fría pero no es un inconveniente ya que hace mucha calor. Muchos mosquitos! Aconsejable llevar enchufes de mosquitos y también un spray para el cuerpo aunque allí esto lo venden. El camino para ir al long beach es pura selva lo cual está llena de mosquitos siempre de 6pm a 7pm y por la noche no hay luz, hay que caminar unos 9 minutos.
