Hotel di montagna, semplice ma accogliente, con camere essenziali e pulite. Parcheggio di fronte all'edificio. Ottima base per escursioni nei dintorni, a metà strada tra la costa settentrionale e quella meridionale di Creta. Ristorante con buoni piatti a prezzi contenuti.

Perfect location for Samaria Gorge and several other hikes! The rooms are refurbished and it feels like a hotel and not a mountain accommodation. Rooms were very clean!

Neu renoviertes Hotel in der Omalos-Ebene. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für eine Tour in die Berge (z. B. Gingilos), oder eine Tour durch die Samaria Schlucht. Unkomplizierte griechische Gastfreundschaft, gutes Essen in der Taverne, Alles Bestens!

Great location for the Samaria Gorge hike, room was clean, large and well equipped with extra blankets for the night.

First night I had to take a cold shower - in a cold bathroom and even colder room with freezing cold floors. The staff later told me that you need to run the water for at least 20 minutes before it gets hot. The second night I tried again and after 20 minutes (what a waste of water) it got warmer - definitely not hot. I also had to stay in the room with my winter coat on in order to feel comfortably warm. Last, please note that the address listed is not precise, the tavern is the first in the village, so you should stop as soon as you come in from Sougia (or the south) instead of relying on Google maps.
