Too many beds in one room. The bunk beds were very unstable

stayed there only because the hostel is close to the train station

a ridiculous system where you have to call the staff every time you want to enter or leave the hostel. The entrance code isn’t provided before arrival. The showers have a strong smell of urine and there is no privacy at all

There were no nets in the room, and I got bitten by mosquitoes. In the evening, there was a very loud party on the street and in the same building

The hostel owner is aggressive, yells, gets angry, doesn't let your guests into the common area, talks nonsense and gets angry at you for any reason. At night you are locked up, the door is closed for the night, if you want to go to a bar or somewhere else you need to forgive them to open the door for you, it is very inconvenient, you have to call for a long time, wait for a long time, wait at night near the door and beg them to open, let you out or let you in and it is very inconvenient until the sleepy unfriendly landlady wakes up from the 3rd floor, comes down, lets you in or lets you out. You feel terribly uncomfortable because you have to wait and get up from bed and beg someone to open the door for you at night to go out or come in. She doesn't give you the keys to the entrance!!!! If you want to spoil your mood and wait, beg for someone to open dor, I do not recommend you to stay here.

Great choice for a trip around Gdansk

Perfect location! Easy and fast communication with the staff. The common room is big enough and has everything you need for eating and chilling after being outside all day. The bedroom was spacious.

Can be a bit cleaner in the common spaces.

Weekend away, great

It definitely matches the pictures, the kitchen/lounge was very cute and well equipped, the view was lovely, very close to the main railway which was super practical AND it was close to the cafes, bars, old town, tram stops and I found the perfect restaurant 5 minutes walk away. Justyna very kindly recommended some places upon my request as well, cheers babe :) very clean and easy to walk around the building.

I know it's difficult to open and close blinds that high up but it would be good in the summer if you could shut some of the light out for better sleep.

Delusional

I liked the cleanliness.

The personnel was not friendly except one woman at the end of the trip. In the shared room there were no lockers (10 people in each room). Even if this was specified in the offer on booking this is not acceptable. In many shared rooms (included mine) there were not curtains. Therefore, light was coming into the room in the early morning making difficult to sleep. In my floor there were only 3 toilets and 3 shower per males. Only in my room we were 10 men. There was only one hairdryer not directly available but it was necessary to go downstairs at the reception to get it. There was not a socket to charge my phone near my bed. They were others but close to beds of other people. The personnel was not always available at reception at working time therefore you were forced to call a number on the door. For a couple of days we did not have soap to clean plates which is a symptom of scarce consideration for customers.

Good location

The location was great. The room was spacious and clean. The free drip coffee was nice and use of a fridge and microwave. Overall the process is worth it for the location.

The bathrooms were frequently out of toilet paper and paper towels. There were times the female shower or bathroom was busy and I had to wait a while. At check in we weren’t made aware we had to ask for towels. After finding out the next day we had to ask several times throughout the day before receiving them. (Hair dryers are also available at reception for free).

Amazing location, very good value for money, small kitchenette was useful enough for coffee etc.

Unable to get a hold of staff when first trying to check in (during check-in-hours). I stayed over the weekend—a lot of street noise throughout the night. Something to be aware of.

i liked the location of this hotel, near the train station gdansk glowny. it was so easy to reach that place by not taking a tram or bus. also i apreciate the comfort and clean spaces

i think the only one thing which could be better were the doors in the bathroom, when i was taking a shower i spotted a space between them. but i still enjoyed the stay

Exceptional

Great attention to details: you are allowed to live your stuff or take a shower/get a rest even when room is not ready yet ( earlier check in ). M and W shower/toilet are separated, good water pressure. Room is big, a lot of space. Location is perfectly suited for traveling all around ( Helm, Oliwa Zoo, Malbrok etc.) also you can visit huge Forum Gdansk when rain catch you . Few steps to one of the coolest National museums in Poland.

A little bit dusty under the bed ( my backpack didn't fit box with lock, so I must put it under the bed ). Blanket was not enough for colder night ( we slept with opened window )

Superb

i had a single room. Location was excellent. The very center of the old city. Everything was sparkling clean. The staff was pleasant; They allowed me to check in earlier than it was expected.

I would be updated bad, it was bit inconvenient.
