Yamamoto Ryokan

I loved this place a lot, if you want a traditional ryokan experience, please book here. The room was minimalistic and traditional, clean and had everything you needed. The shared bathroom wasn’t an issue, even me showering twice a day, there was never a point where another guest was using the shower. The breakfast was authentic and tasty. What made the experience worth it was the language barrier, none of the staff I encountered could speak English but we still communicated very well, thanks to my basic Japanese and Google translate. It made the place seem more authentic and real, but also being able to communicate purposefully. The location was great, a 10 minute walk to Hakata station, where you go up and turn left to go straight to the station.

not too far from Hakata station, i afford to walk from there with suitcase in about 15 mins. Located in a quiet street, the room and amenities was clean. Breakfast was OK. Washing machine includes washing powder ! Smoking room at 2nd floor was useful.

No special remarks, it feets my expectations.
