I stayed at Epoch Inn Nakasu for 7 nights. The place was near bus stops, train stations, restaurants, and malls averaging a 10-min walk to these establishments. The room is small, but neat. It's not recommended though if you're going to stay for longer days because they don't have staff who regularly clean the room and take out the trash so the bedsheet's going to get dirtier the longer you stay (I guess this depends on habits, e.g. if you immediately lay on bed after being outside or anything of the like) and trash is gonna pile up and take up space in the little room (if you take home kombini foods to eat at your hotel, yeah). If you like shopping, your items will also take up the little space in the room. These are things to consider if you're planning on staying here. Despite all these, I still enjoyed my stay! 😊

For a little bit more per night, you can stay somewhere else that actually has people.
You can also get an ACTUAL chair in the room. Seems like a small issue but go ahead and book a room and you will know what I’m talking about.
Futon that is thin, you can really feel the wooden platform on ye back/sides. Does not matter how many nights you stay, there is no housekeeping till you leave and no way to get rid of trash so having food packagings inside, e.g ramens noodles, sandwich plastics or snack packagings means the smell and leftovers are with you for however long your stay is.
Spend an extra 20 per night and go to an actual proper space is recommended. No facilities or an array of amenities for self service either.
Low cost and maintenance of business, which also means skimping and inattention on giving to customers.

They have no idea what good costumer service is. I booked another room that was priced the same as the one I had the previous night but made me pay an extra $20 to stay in my current room. They could have just done the simple thing and switched me to the room I booked afterwards but said they couldn't. That's blatant stealing. Never stay here unless you want to lose money for free

I lived in a single room with about 10 m2 which was too small. The toilet was very small too but the bed was relatively large. The bed was set at a low level which made me not used to sleep. There was no table & no window. Because only 5 rooms were present at the same floor, I find it was quiet enough. Please try to check in before 9 pm because it takes you at least 15 minutes to input information to a PC tablet. The good points to stay here are its short distance from a subway station. Many restaurants & convenience stores are close to it.
