Ok for a short stay, just enough to spend the night if you're out for the day, for a good price.
The location of the accommodation is very convenient for sightseeing in both the Swiss and French parts. The price of the accommodation is very affordable. The room is very warm and that's great.
The only thing I can complain about is the cleanliness, it could be a little higher.

Unsafe, unclean, and poorly managed property
Hot water in apartment for long showers after whole day of walking. Location is dicent, not so loud.
Where to start — unfortunately, there were many negative aspects to this stay.
First of all, we were not accommodated in the room that we originally booked. Upon arrival, the entrance to the hotel was extremely unsafe: there is a very deep trench at the entrance where someone could easily break a leg. It is so deep that a person could fall halfway in, and there were no warnings or protective barriers.
During our 6-day stay, the room was NEVER CLEANED. When we asked about cleaning, the host informed us that we would need to pay an additional 50 euros, which was never an option for us. There was also no hand soap, toilet paper, or basic bathroom and kitchen supplies provided so after your trip you would need to go to near store to buy all necessary for your stay.
The property appears to operate without any on-site staff. Upon arrival, we spent nearly an hour walking around the property trying to figure out how to enter. In the end, we discovered that our room was located in a different building, which was not properly marked. We only found it thanks to another guest. When you try to contact them over booking massages they replay in another day, or not replay at all.
There were also serious maintenance and safety issues. The hot water heater was leaking water, and water was dripping onto the microwave oven, which is extremely dangerous and poses a clear electrical hazard.
Double bed was significantly smaller than expected and felt more like a child-sized double bed in comparison. Additionally, the mattress and duvet were made of materials that retain excessive heat. As a result, sleeping was very uncomfortable, and we woke up sweating multiple times during the night.
The internet connection was very poor and unreliable, especially in the evenings, making it almost unusable. The TV offered only basic channels, most of which had weak or no signal.
Overall, this stay was very disappointing and did not meet even basic hospitality and safety standards.

If you like grime, this is the apartment for you.
Stained sheets, blood-stained tablecloths, dirty and dusty floor. Spiders and cobwebs in many places.
Even though I called customer service twice to ask for clean sheets nothing changed. At the end we decided to at least buy some towels for the shower.
They apologized repeatedly saying they would fix it, but in reality they had no intention of doing so. This is proven also from how they have treated other guests... just check the other Booking reviews.
Don't make the same mistake, I feel robbed and mocked by these people...

Don’t be fooled by the convenient price. Unfortunately the rooms don’t look nice and welcoming like the pictures, we got a quite grim one however we didn’t care much about looks of the room. Real problems were: smelly bed (which we pointed out to the management but nothing was done about it), unusable Wi-Fi (don’t come here if you are thinking of getting some work done on those desks provided), we were given 1 set of towels for 2 guests staying (which was resolved on last night we stayed), from description of the property we knew there were no toiletries but there was only 1 roll of toiler paper and zero hand wash which I would think would be basics amenities for a studio apartment. There were leftovers printouts from previous guests in the room (an easy Jet ticket) which makes us question how the apartments are cleaned/serviced. In general it was a pretty uncomfortable stay.

First day: water issue in the apartment, so I had to move to other apartment.
Second day: power cut off so I had to call for help. No one is in the place, so I had to help to solve the issue.
During the whole week: the Wi-Fi was extremely slow, even single WhatsApp msg had delays. I reported this issue, but no one contacted me to provide a solution.

The position is super convenient, the price is unbeatable and the room was big and very clean. Daily cleaning service and fresh towels. The owner is very friendly and helped us swiftly with a small issue we had with the toilet. Very quiet area, we slept very well. Great value for the price!

The owner (Mr Schmitdt) is a very, very kind person, keen to help the clients and very spontaneous.
The hotel is close to the tram station, right next to the border with Switzerland.
Be careful with the mobile network, Mr Schmidt gave good advice on setting the operator manually to avoid costs.

Good location. Accommodation considering the price was acceptable. Suitable for low-cost travelers. Perfect parking.
Not suitable for families with children. Old equipment, dishes in kitchen very dirty, dish sponge tasteless, lack of dishes. Bathroom washed but old, hence mould in places, smell from pipes. The worst thing is the plumbing, which makes a loud noise, so that it wakes you up about 2 times a night.

position very close to Swiss border, so, easy to commute to Basel. An apartment with small kitchenette giving flexibility for cooking. The price is good, but in the area other, newer hotels charge a similar price
the facility is out for sale (owner is retired and is selling it). Hence, no investemnt made on facility: the taps on the kitchen sink move left and right any time one is trying to get water. The shower muzzle must be held with own hands because there is no place to hang it on the wall....difficult to hold it and use soap at the same time. I found 2 hairs in my bed linen (and 1 spider). The cleaners forgot to close my window once they left and therefore left it open all day until I came home (rainy day in September).
