Air con not working!

Free parking

The breakfast was bad, very simple, just few things. Many plates were empty and taking forever to replenish. Air con was not working at all! We tried to do everything. We felt really hot all night, bad sleep because of it.

Air conditioning was not working when it was 30 degrees outside and the room faces the sun from the early morning. It was impossible to sleep with the heat. When we were checking out we were asked about the stay and when we informed them of the issue we were told that it was normal because the air conditioning wasn't on yet (clearly they think it is normal because they aren't the ones sleeping there...) and there was no apology given. Also, the breakfast was not very good - bread was hard, not enough savory options (although there were 20 different cakes and pastries) and there were no scrambled eggs for the 20 minutes we sat there. Overall the experience was not good, especially for a 4 star hotel.

Dirty, depressing and sorry hotel. My worst stay in over 50 years of travelling

Check-in ok, not necessarily very welcoming...

Room is dirty, old, smelled of the cleaning products that have been used for I guess a good 20 years mixed with dirt and grime. Walls grayish and dirty, uncomfortable bed, disgusting carpet, I didn't dare walk bare feet, breakfast zero, couldn't even get a fresh orange juice (we don't have any orange three days in row).

Very friendly and service-oriented staff. Big rooms. Good breakfast with a lot of choice. Overall clean.

Superb

The room was particularly spacious with a good view. The bathroom was large. The room included good coffee making machines and a fridge with water. The bed was comfortable.

The location of the hotel means you either have to have a car, or be part of a group with a bus, or use local public transport. It's not very central. Walking from the train station took around 30 minutes, which is fine if you don't have luggage.
