Nice hotel in the center, with friendly staff and enough amenites

Enough items variety for breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, possibility to store de luggage for a few hours after check-out. Hotel located in the downtown area of Caen and close to public transport (buses, tram). Thanks to the convenient location, we could easily reach on foot the Caen Castle, the marina on the river and the Sunday street market and we even found a pharmacy nearby, which was open on Sunday.

good overnight friendly stop in a great location

we read a lot of negative reviews and we were surprised how good it was for the money. The room was adequate in size and so was the shower room. Not big but adequate. Welcome was excellent as was most advice, especially re parking just around the corner on road 2 eu for the whole night.

The restaurant downstairs was not great. We recommend the short walk to the boats where ther are nice locations. Like we say just a tad small but fine for a night

Good location close to the city center, in a side not very busy street. Close to public transport. Relatively cheap hotel. Old building.

Hear other hotel guests hard - poor sound insulation in the old building. You can hear everything, it's hard to sleep when others are making noise. I hate the fungus in the bathroom, and this one was big and black, I hate bathing in such a fungus. Replacing the silicone with a new, clean one is not an expensive undertaking, the hotel owner could take more care of the appearance of the bathrooms. I don't expect great comforts from a cheap hotel, but it could be more clean.

we loved the location and the precise descriptions from the staff. service was impeccable and the breakfast value well above the 7 EUR pp we paid!

the bed was too soft for us and quite noisy.
