    I stayed at Hotel Amazonas for a short trip and overall, it was a decent stay. The hotel has a modern design and a fresh, updated feel, which I really liked. It’s clear some thought has gone into the look and layout of the place. The room itself was clean, functional, and totally fine for a few nights. Nothing fancy, but it had everything I needed and was kept spotless. However, I was really disappointed with the WiFi situation. There was basically no connection in the room at all — the only place I could get a signal was if I stood right next to the reception desk. In 2025, that’s pretty frustrating, especially if you’re trying to plan your day or check in with people back home. If reliable WiFi isn’t a priority for you, this place could be a solid option. But if you need to stay connected, it might be something to think about.
